I know, paying again for these games is really tough. The problem I have is that I'm still begging for games to play on my PS4. I suspect we'll be getting more, yet to be announced next gen ports of previous gen games. With so many of the things I'm looking forward to slipping into 2015, I'll probably end up with tonnes of remastered games before I'm playing many truly awesome, next gen only games.
Actually, does anybody know if Ryu Hyabusa is in Warriors Orochi 3 Ultimate?
I'm not the biggest 'Warriors' series fan but I'm certainly looking forward to Hyrule Warriors! The more I learn about that game the more I want it now! It's due in late September so it's not far away.
I like the idea of a the enemy being someone who is trying to save Hyrule, not destroy it. The way they go about it is so heavy handed and misguided that they become the villain.
You can probably just shorten that to new Zelda game = Awesome :)
I think the phrasing makes it seem like the over arching villain is new to the series. The've often had new villains that take centre stage for a while like Agahnim, Zant and Ghirahim (although Ghirahim lead to Demise who was basically Ganon) but the've not often had fully new villains.
That's really cool, a good list of things going on as a result in San Diego whilst the Con is on. I was in San Diego this time last year and thought it was a great place, hope all who attend enjoy.
It's a pretty biased article that doesn't pay any attention to xbox positives but it does raise a few good points. Neither console has many great games yet, they'll both have lots in 18 months.
Yes, very cool. The salute with the tear streaming down the face was pretty moving. MGS3 is awesome.
I'm going to read this as the guy talking tongue in cheek. It seems like satire to me.
It definitely wasn't a glitch! They were $4.99 in the US and £3.99 in the UK. A glitch couldn't give 2 different demos regionally specific prices, it was EA being EA.
Pretty much, they weren't in MK3 (but were added in MK3 Ultimate) but everything else, yeah. At this point it'd be like Street Fighter without Ryu.
I know it will take time to settle into this but I'm certain it is what the future holds. I can't claim to be happy about it but I know my tangible music and movie collection have suffered from digital distribution being the norm for them now.
I agree with your assessment of DRM, but the issue we have is when the industry slowly makes digital more and more accepted. At the start of the seventh gen (PS3, 360, Wii) the idea of paying for digital content irritated me. Only a few short years later and I have lots of payed for digital content.
Eventually they wear away at our concerns like a constant water drop on a stone. When those must have titles appeal to us and have DRM included it puts off less and less people each time ...
Yeah, there will be an adaptor so you can use any old GC pads you have but the thing I'm glad about is that they're producing new GC controllers! That is awesome!
A bit more positive than some of the other reviews I've read. I thought this was an interesting concept but it did look a bit clunky at a show I went to a few months back. Granted it was an early build but I doubt it changed much in 3 months. I don't think gameplay is the reason we play games like this, it's the story and experience more than anything.
To my knowledge, there's no such thing on the market. Plenty of people dub the Wii U pro controller a 360 clone, just grab one of those. ;)
This is an interesting topic. I have a load of suddenly controller converters, for using other consoles controllers on various machines. I find it very useful but eventually I suppose I should move on.
Stealth done from this perspective is interesting, I'd like to sink my teeth into this!
Yeah, you make a good point. I never delved into the online mode, it was still broken when I tried but lots of my friends still play it regularly now. Like you, they've sunk hundreds of hours into it and still enjoying it so it'd be worth every penny to them.
The next gen version looks fantastic so you and the others who've emjoyed it online will have a much nicer looking city to dominate and people like me who skipped out the online mode can try it out this time...
