Guy makes some good points. AI ruins the game for me because every time I see them doing something dumb, which is pretty much constantly, I remember I am playing a video game and it sucks me out of the immersion. Titanfodder is a pass for me.
Payday 2 has brought out the asshole in me and all of my buds.

Yes. I think the idea of a console "generation" will end once the Steambox comes out and console consumers are introduced to the idea of a fully customizable unit and an incredible gaming community. The market will change and the big companies will adapt by releasing units that are more closely matched with consumers' changing tastes and preferences.

I don't see this as a surprise. He had already stated he wanted to start on a new survival game. The team will continue to work on DayZ, then the PC community will make it shine with awesome mods, and Rocket will out be climbing a mountain somewhere.

An FPS? Close. I actually consider Titanfall a CFPS or casual first person shooter. It represents a de-evolution in online shooters in my opinion, catering more toward the console crowd than ever before.
Instead of game changing we get name changing.
