Love it. Since it is so close to Dark Souls, yet more accessible I do believe this game will become more popular than the first. Good to see that veterans will find what they are looking for and new players will be more likely to play past those first trying few hours.
I hope that these new players will play Dark Souls II, love it, and be so intrigued that they then go play (or perhaps try again) the previous 2 Souls games.
The only game released for the rest of 2014 as far as I'm concerned.

Anybody know when/if preload will be available for Dark Souls II? All I can download now is a 3MB theme?
Dark Souls II is changing the way we play with each other online, period. No one is doing what they are as far as interactions go.
As for Titanfall, I really don't see how making a competitive online shooter more casual can be a good thing for longevity. The skilled players will get bored and move on quickly.
It's not that Dark Souls wasn't right for you. You weren't right for Dark Souls.

Gone Home is extremely short. I finished it in 80 minutes and it has no replay value.
Pretty sure there are items you have to consume/use? that can get the enemies to respawn, but they'll be tougher. I like the idea. Makes farming more of a challenge.
Haha. I totally agree. I had Gold for around 3 years and was like: "why do I pay for this??" and cancelled it. I've had Plus for the same length of time and am like: "how does Sony make any money??"
