"An Honest Opinion From A Gaming Journalist" is like Obama saying "Let me be clear."
Wait ... so I'm not getting in?
gotta have 3 monitors [___][___][___] 5760 x 1080 ftw!
Tomorrow I'm sure it'll be down to 2hrs.
Waiting for Angry Joe's "Ya done f*&$ed up!" review of Evolve.
I can't remember a game that was hated on this much before release. It's like people are trying to will it to fail.
Weapon degrade isn't an issue for me. I got the skills that gives you extra repairs and that help the degrade (I think) and I have never ran out on a weapon before finding something better. Plus you aren't tied to a bench. Love out in the field repairs!
My main gripe with this game is the difficulty. After like level 10 is seems like the scaling is out of whack. Game starts out pretty tough, but then after a little bit of leveling it feels like God Mode and get...
Ya, I totally buy $60 games so I can skip as much content as possible and try to finish it super fast so I can be upset with my purchase.

Hopefully it will be good.
Only thing I noticed was the ridiculously long load time.
I'll buy Evolve when it's $20. That is the real value of this game to me.
Exactly. That is the new norm. Wait for them to get fixed and pick em up on a Steam Sale.
If you pre-order anything from Ubisoft or EA you are an idiot.
Too bad it's EA, otherwise I would get excited about this game.
For me it hit the boring line too much. Evolve should be called Revolve.
He's about to find out what being pwnd really means.
On the PC beta there are a lot of people in chat openly discussing which hacks they are using and how to get them installed and bypass BFHL security. I really don't know who would ever want to be a part of the BFHL community. Disgusting.
Thank God for the beta. Passing on this one.
"Some people really can't handle open world games... I think there is a sense of overwhelming options, lack of direction."
I agree. I can only guess it comes from people playing too many small, closed-box PvP maps that I personally am sick and tired of. It's too much rinse and repeat. With GTA V I feel like I can do anything I want and am not confined to a specific area. I love it!
