I am playing the DX11 version on Steam and it's great! Looks better, runs better, lighting is nice (super dark in areas now), coop with 3 others, and the enemy placements are tweaked. I hadn't finished the first release, but so far this was worth the $20 imho. This is the definitive edition of the game and it's awesome.
It's been atop the Store page awhile now. How is this even newsworthy?
I just watch Worth a Buy on youtube. That guy is pretty good as telling ya like it is.
Dark Souls II SotFS is not hard. The update make sit easy mode. Boss fights with 3 of your friends are a cake walk lol.
Love the writing. Awesome and funny article. Look forward to more!
The multiplayer mechanics of the Souls series is #1 in my book.
Offline ya it is as solid as a rock at 30FPS, that's one thing. But playing Bloodborne online with my friends the frame drops are horrendous. With a game this fast and fluid it is almost unplayable in certain areas while fighting. Offline ya it is as solid as a rock at 30FPS.
*I am BSing you guys. Look at this performance analysis. The facts don't lie yo:
Lol. Nope. I'm gonna wait until they patch Blightborne. Either way it's still a great time to be a Souls fan.
I have DS2 SotFS on PC (DX11) and Bloodborne on PS4. One is 60FPS and one is 16-30 FPS. Guess which one I'm playing.
DX11 on PC on High settings looks great! The lighting is so much better now.
Ya skull offline it's MUCH better. A rock-solid 30FPS. too bad online isn't the same way since thats the funnest part of the game for me.
Those are pretty poor videos.. oh wait it's gamingbolt. lol.
I agree. When playing online it's worse. Almost every map seems as bad as Blighttown did. I expect more from this current gen.
This is a comparison between the two consoles. Why the PC version is not mentioned is strange since it's better than both.
Great time to be a Souls fan!
The lighting on PC is so much better in the DX11 version compared to the old one. So happy with this update.
up to 3 friends yo
Epic reply. :-D
Ah man. Tower Knight is my fav. Love the intro to that fight. Classic!
Got a 1TB SSD last month so I'd have room for this and StarCitizen which will install at around 100GB I hear.
