Plus the price point really stinks.
All my friends are refusing to get an X1. They've had it with MS. There is no real reason to upgrade your 360 right now, there just isn't. I see the X1 gaining popularity after a few years of its release, but by then it will be way to late.

As far as next-gen console MMOs go last time I checked PS4 was getting War Thunder, Planetside 2, Warframe, Elder Scrolls Online, and Final Fantasy XIV. Some with cross-platform play connectivity with PC. Also, Warhammer coming to X1 and PS4.

Same. Most of these are not exclusives so whoop-dee-doo. Prob pick up Titanfall on PC and wait for DR3 to come to another platform. Never been interested in Halo and was done with Gears half way through the third iteration, not that it matters. I REALLY wish they had a few (or more) games that made me say "day 1 buy!" Right now I'm happy with my X360.

I agree. It's like they thought they had the power to do what they wanted using the guise of "it's the future". Our future contains more consumer rights thanks to this reversal. Let'em get a foot in the door and the next thing you'll have is a credit card prompt to play the next level of the game you don't own.

Agree. This article is a joke. His BS about the online connection .. ya tell that to 1/3 of MS console users who don't have internet or people who travel a lot (like the military) and'or just don't have proper access or crap connections. To them it IS a huge deal. LMFAO at this douche being a librarian too.

Totally agree. Drop the camera and the price to 399-449 and I might consider getting it for DR3 and Quantum Break.
