apart fro the dirty reveal of the XBOX 360 Slim.. That rogue 360 just sitting there always looked suspicious and Don revealing it was the cream of the crop of reveals..
Excited that it is available to buy basically after E3 is over... Usually it's a reveal then months of waiting BUT the fact we can buy it almost now is awesome! Need to save up money!!!
Yeah I agree with tis too. Last year I saw plenty of posters and banners of console exclusive games, multiplatform games and such which had no logo or only select logos. Just because one at E3 doesn't have a logo on it before it's even started doesn't mean it's going multiplatform.
And I would highly doubt that something like that would even let slip like this ruining the whole surprise.
Just saw the Mortal Kombat banner that's all I'm interested in really and the usual sequels and boring other games that seem to be populating E3 this year. It's all glitz and glamour with barely any substance
PS3 is even worse on the front of AAA titles that would last me. GOW3 sure I would of played the 8-10 hours that offered a few months ago but that's it...
MAG not even interested in it in the slightest.. Heavy Rain played it didn't like it. If I had a PS3 I'd be using it to watch Blu Ray movies with the occasional AAA title and that's it.
@Blaine: So you're telling me that the games on XBLA like Toy Soldiers isn't a Tower Defense gam...
There are times in the year where the 360 just doesn't have any good AAA titles to take up my time.. It seems there arew a few months in the year where nothing comes out. And I'm stuck playing games I can't be bothered finishing because are boring to me or multiplayer with a bunch of hackers and glitchers.
If there was a steady release of AAA or even AA titles every month sure money would be a problem but that would keep the appeal of console at a high!
For the past 2 months all I've really been playing is my Nexus One with the occasional 30 minutes sit down of perhaps Metro 2033 or Conviction when that came out..
Other than that the past 2 weeks has been Halo: Reach and Nexus One. Yes the N1 has a sparse amount of games that are available accross the Android platform and ofcourse that take advantage of the N1 power BUT the games available do offer a lot of play time.
Like I said simple games and a lead...
It's Bungie and anything Bungie I have played I have loved! Sure ODST may have been a bit short and somewhat meh and Halo 2 was quite glitchy and many thought Halo 3 was utter ehh.. I am looking forward to Bungie's next title!
I've spent hours already in the Halo: Reach BETA and loving it so far so what ever Bungie throw at us next I'll embrace it!

Very cheap price for this i have to say.. Because a RF: Guerrilla hammer cost around $300 US... And that thing was almost as heavy as a real sledg...
Yeah $30 is a steal especially for the size of Stalker.. Might have to set aside some off limit time to download the game.
Metro 2033.. is developed by ex-GSC developers who left the company. Also they apparently are using a modified XRay Engine which is combined with their own engine and also the game is based off Metro 2034 *I think* which is a best selling Russian novel..
Lot's of similarities and you are correct in thinking it looks a lot like S.T.A.L.K.E.R but that ain't a bad thing at all..

Metro 2033.. is basically a more linear, graphically superior, less buggy and glitchy, very story driven experience compared to S.T.A.L.K.E.R..
Which is my all time favourite PC game despite the glitches and bugs. The atmosphere was superb!!
Metro 2033 will be to THA in 2010 what Red Faction: Guerrilla was in 2009.. A perfect game that comes out after the big boys in the beginning of the year and before the end of the year.

And yeah that's exactly my mentality.. Let them bring out the casual games and motion controller games.. I'll definitely be trying them out and buying them to have something to do with brothers or family..
But as long as i am still catered for in terms of the genres that I like such as action, sports, fighting, driving, adventure, RPG and so forth then I don't mind about al this.
Only when they start making games in the genres that I like and just add a tacky gamep...
Then I don't care. Let them bring out all the motion controllers and casual games. As long as they still cater to what I like then I'm perfectly fine to be honest
All the Halo OST are phenomenal!! I cannot wait for Halo: Reach to have it's OST..
Lost Odyssey had a few great songs as well Mass Effect was pretty good for a tehcno ish style hehe..
Gears 2 was quite meh to be honest and wonder what MW2 OST will sound like.

I am the only dis-advantaged gamers on our staff who doesn't have access to a PS3 for Uncharted 2.. The rest own a PS3 and a Wii in most cases in which they have been able to play PS3 exclusive titles.
As to the staff listed in our GOTY that is the whole staff of OXCGN pretty much the others are mainly just contributors who write a piece up here and there or help out behind the scenes.
We don't have to wait to long for this which is good I mean only 3 weeks until Australians can buy it.. Gives me ample time to save up money and trade in various games and hardware towards it.
Good this nothing has been downgraded like the PS3 Slim. We still have Backwards Compat, more USBs, whisper quiet fan, In built WiFi, and much more! Pumped!
