Totally with you on that one. Especially cross-platform.
Lol, sounds terrible, but I'm surprised there even were 10 PC games this year! jj ;) No, nice list, SC2 is my baby and i'll own all the n00bs! :D
I completely agree with you. Bubbling you up dude.
Lol, you being serious?!
That's the joy of this title really. You don't really have to be into cars at all to enjoy it!
I can't tell you how potent this game is. There are just a few minor issues but on the whole, I agree with LG's review here. Well done.
The multiplayer is fun for an hour, but gets really boring and repetitive. Great idea, and i'd love to award innovation, but that innovation has got to be productive and actually make it good. They have so many things in here to make this work, i'm just hoping that AC3's going to tie it all together to make it worth while.
It's fun and it is better BUT, just because you release a game that's a little better than the last in one in a few areas and in many ways relies on you having played the first one, makes it a money making scheme. It's the same reason the Half-Life episodes were a real spit in the face for me but luckily they weren't full price. Here's a full-price retail game/expansion released shortly after the game (in time for Christmas mind you), with a couple of add-ons that could...
I think I should've mentioned that. Very well said, bubble up from me!
I have to agree. People are losing it with me on N4G because I think the game's not living up to expectations. The reviews speak for themselves. And Lazygamer have it 100% right: The lower end cars on the spectrum do look bad. You have eyes, see for yourself.
So true!!! :D
Er, it's my honest opinion. And I do my show on my own :)
"Weak bones" is actually an excellent phrase that describes it. Should've used that one.
AND they've taken so long to develop it, and it's still not perfect. The budget must've gone into buying car rights or plane trips or something.
This dude rocks.
Great review! :)
Look, it may seem a little harsh but to a lot of gamers I know, splitscreen is a big selling point. Ever since Burnout Revenge, digs and families went mad over a racing title even if they weren't interested: Because you played with your buddy on the same couch and that got you hooked. Online isn't the same as real interpersonal interaction.
Totally agree, just thought it was worth mentioning as this game really shines in the online.
And just to qualify the score a bit: I feel this game deserves a 9/10 for sure. It's the lack of the splitscreen option that has tainted the overall package. It could've been so much better. It's really a pity.
Good question!
