You racist pricks, this guy always comes with interesting news and information... he is interesting and at times has a fresh perspective.
What he said in this video was 100% correct, even his opinions are all obviously correct given the circumstances and back history of games performances. Sqaure Enix decided to launch games exclusively for the Xbox 360 and whilst the games performed better than most other JRPG genres in the West, they WOULD HAVE sold far more if they were relea...
Arrrgh! dam I hate 1080i, I tried it out on Burnout Paradise and everything looked really ugly and blurry. Criterion themselves said that those who own a 720p capable TV might as well just run it at 720p because it'll look ugly running in 1080i even though the game supports those resolutions.
Well it looks like I wont be buying a 3D-HDTV or using this feature until the PS4 arrives and I guess that also means no 3D gaming for me this gen.

Your argument fails
Yes I agree with you, these dubious and pessimistic "journalists" don't account for $hit with their reviews.
Out of those whole three pages (which he could have easily fitted in to one) the ONLY criticism "worthy" of mentioning was regarding the Games amazing looking graphics making the experience feel a "film set". 0_0
WHAT?! How is that even suppose to be something negative? Uncharted 2 also felt like a blockbuster action film (only mo...
This is a Final Fantasy game, not some mindless kiddie game.

What is this nonsense about having no Towns or interactive NPC's?
You are IN a town, an inhabited sapphire to be precise, called Cacoon which is suppose to be an Eden for its inhabitants. You then travel to Grand Pulse, which has no towns because, guess what... all the people evacuated and left for Cacoon!!
Why the hell would they need to add Towns when it conflicts with the story and its plot?
Exploration on Grand Pulse, with all its different terrai...
@ mikeslemonade?
Such an idiot
They first developed the PS3 version, which took them two years. Then they developed the Xbox360 version after they had almost completed the PS3 version...
I know you are butt hurt over the multi platform announcement but try at least to judge the game for what it is, rather being bias and prejudice for what it "could" have been...
@ Presto717
WOW, so now you even complain about how Lightning looks? I guess you were disappointed when they announced a female hero this time round, no more muscular steroid infested zombies to please you.
And to think such a beautiful, well designed game with much exploration was produced in less than 24 months is just incredible. The guys over at Saure Enix managed to create a new Engine from and an entire game that rivals most games to date...
If it ...
People who avidly play these sorts of games know what and WHEN to judge a game of this scale by. It is proper that reviewers play the entire game, especially this one because the developers have kept the Open World exploration till nearing the end of the game...
Its a deliberate move by Square Enix since Shops all open up upon reaching chapter 11, Chocobo's are accessible, Marks Hunts are accessible, and you finally feel the urge to customise and experiment via equipping the weal...

The only Game worth everything
And games like this get scores like this...
That troubles me grealty
And the two 7's are from unknown, dubious, miscellaneous Websites that have probably rushed through the game up until the Story ends to give first hand reviews for hits.
When previous FF games were released reviewing at this paste did not exist, people took their time to review games.
And besides both reviews so far gave it a 7 meaning Good or Very good.
I hardly see that as a disappointment considering how for the first time Square had to develop thi...
Shoot...Shoot, Kill, Scream...Camp (Repeat mindlessly)
Seems to be the formula for achieving big sales and near perfect scores these days.
Sad
Well actually considering how many games got 7/8 on this website the score is predictable...and can not be regarding a "failure"...
So far there has only been two reviews and both say its a good game, with aspects that are missing.
Gamekult - 7/10 Good
rpgland - Very Good
Considering how this Website gives most Games a 7-8 rating, this review is very predictable for the most part.
Instead of judging the game for what it is, they try to draw a parallel with what RPG games are "suppose" to be like, without considering any alternatives or exception to why they idealise.
Well In that case they made some elemental mistakes.
All characters in this Game can have access to all 6 types of Optima, and the Crystarium becomes far more complex and branches out once players reach the World Map.
I couldn't understand it entirely because of the translation but the arguments they made for the most part were valid.
I guess this site will never rate any game above an 8 (I find it hilarious that they rated MW2 an 8 WOW)
Coudlnt understand it, to predictable of a review.
I have played it my self and the story is amazing, and yes, you can interact with NPC when you are with Vanille and Sazh near the Chocobo park/ theme park.
Story is amazing, with amazingly detailed facial expressions capturing the mood really well
As expected, this game will be awesome. And well worth the money.
Quote:
"There is next to no strategy or skill involved, just keep pushing or mashing the attack button mixed with some magic attacks and you will be fine. Seriously."
WTF?!!!!
What a load of BS, this game REQUIRES strategy!! You need to constantly switch between Optima, and find ways to break the Enemy, and then find ways to string attacks to juggle the enemy in the air!! You need to plan your Optima's for each character before hand to suit the bosse...
Actually the first ever Western review for this game, gave it a very good review. They did not stick a number but they didn't complain at all.
