killing demons, beasties and assassins could never be considered adult only. It's part of American culture.
and besides, you'll find more cleavage on a day time tv show.
you probably already know that halo one of our soldiers favorites. and M$ has donated games and consoles for our soldiers to pass the time with.
being a vet myself(a navy vet from an earlier time), I appreciated the commercial on a creative level.. it was subtle yet powerful,..in that it invoked the memory of a terrible war within 2 old vets.
the understated dramatic impact was accentuated by the old vet's feeling of disgust at the mere touch of a covenant weapon...
now I really can't wait
the nuisance law has nothing to do with video games. you don't have to be a lawyer to know that. and yes, this article is weak.
you sony boys from camp misery ought to publish your own book.
of course the book would be biased against the game.
you could call it. "IF I PLAYED IT : a fanboys perspective"
it's a quality franchise that only gets better with age, the ripple effect of halo will be chonicolized as long a human dna dominates the earth.
you my friend are already infected, but you just don't know it yet.
"DUH"
lol..
I expected to see a lot of kiddy posts like "360 sucks, f@CK halo, killzone rules" etc...
instead you guys are campaignin' like front runner politicians.
But I just can't do it tonight fellas,..
WHY??
**Can't you feel it in the air..??
**Don't you know it in your Hearts??
**The Xbox360 has just turned that last critical corner,..
**and is marching up the road to Victory
...
I can honestly say based on what I've hear about the game, that I would probably like it. theres games that have scored a 5 that I've loved to play.
and I think game reviewers usually focus on things that don't matter to justify low scores such as not liking the voice acting or the wardrobe selection, or the architecture.
however I must take Aaron's assessement of the game with a grain of salt.
most reviews say the game can be beaten by jamming on ...
but if 10 out 10 reviewers gave it a 5, I'd still get the game.
I've already decided the game should score at least a 9.5
there are so many alternatives to the format that skips the need to purchase either player,
when the makers know that the consumers know this, watch the pricess plunge.
that's why so many major corporations often contract "off shore" labor and customer service reps from India,
they're smart as the chinese and work for almost the same low wages (in comparison to their american and european counterparts)
it's only a natural progression for the general population to gravitate toward video games.
game on psp players.
oh,.. sorry,.. you don't even get paid.
But as I stated earlier, I will hold a special session for all my Ps3 owning friends to join me in some multiplayer and co-op (with the meta game turned on).
I'll also be sharing the movies I make with my co-workers.
how does that make you sniveling fanboys feel???
and I can barely wait.
I'll be playing halo3 in just 4 1/2 days
SWEET!!!!!!!!!
the 360 already sells more software than the Ps3 and Wii combined,..
last time I heard,.. software means GAMES!
If you really have been paying attention to reality instead of listening to all the Blind hype being tossed around by disillusioned fanboys, you'll start to notice a pattern.
former ps2 owners buy a Wii, and then after a diet of party games they crave a real experience and purchase a 360. (or they just buy the 360 because they dont give a...
**** I'll admit,..the movie was good, but the fresh indelible impressions left in minds of movie-goers by the Indomitable Transformers has sucked out most of the anticipation for the dvd version.
I'll buy it on regular dvd, (I already have a perfect bootleg copy, but I'd rather own the real deal)
however there's no motivation for me to purchase a blu ray copy.
If I was going Hi Def, I'd wait for the TRansformers on Hddvd.
spiderman3 ...
My fiance, is buying me a 360 before halo comes out., But I can see she has no interest in "real Games"or the 360,.. she only talks about the Wii and it's ability to play fun, calorie burning games.
So it looks like I'm going to have to buy her one after all.
we're going to become another Wii60 household. "sigh"....
they have really elevated gaming to a precise discipline,
Maybe they could open Bungie U.
