1080p pics up for real.. i guess the image host was shrinking them to 1600x900. fixed now.
There are rumors it's 1080p 60fps, but no confirmation. These screens aren't even 1080p, as pointed out by others above - Sony's trailer in the PS Store is labeled as 1080p, though, so that's where the confusion came from.
Er, yeah, you're right. The trailer from Sony was labeled as 1080p... But it's not, apparently.
They are taken straight from Sony's 1080p video - go download it yourself in the PlayStation Store. If Sony upscaled a 720p video and put it in the Store as 1080p, then OK.
Those images are 1080p, taken from Sony's official 1080p trailer, so that's not anyone's fault but Sony...

I don't think the GOW3 VGA trailer will disappoint whatsoever. I think the point was that Jaffe says what he saw (and therefore, what we will eventually see) is even better than what we'll see a few days from now.

I liked NHL 09, but didn't play it too much, so I sold it. I hope this one has some kind of offline mode. For $10, I'll grab it. It's bound to be fun like NBA Jam. :)
They've got a nice lineup currently scheduled for 2009, for sure. Killzone 2, inFAMOUS, God of War 3, Uncharted 2, Gran Turismo 5, Ratchet & Clank Future 3, to name a few.
Some of those may slip, but I could see them all making it out on time, too.

The developer was bought by Epic Games China... Since Sony is the publisher, Fat Princess will likely stay PS3-exclusive, though there's no real release date set. Sometime in 2009, most likely.
