Pachter's such a tool. Wii HD "soon" there is no Wii HD. A Wii HD would be the dumbest thing Nintendo could possibly do right now. Its already closing in on 70m sold without HD. How many of those 70m customers would buy a Wii HD? Why split up a huge userbase? So many questions to this illogical notion that Pachter must have ulterior motives.

Understood, why people who apparently have no interest in the Wii continue to pollute the Wii section, its baffling. I have no interest whatsoever in the PS3, or 360 and you will NEVER find me post in those sections.

I hate to say it but, this guy needs to grow up. This mentality is very immature. The best thing about this is take the Wii's contribution away from the equation and look what the 'industry' looks like as a result.
On the Genesis. Streets of Rage, Altered beast, Sonic 2, Double Dragon, Contra, Turtles in Time, and so many more. Love the old school.
Yes, because graphics make a game and if a game isn't in HD my god its just lame! Look at all those lame games last gen and the gen before that, and the gen before even that one!
And for the record, yes MK is the best racing game this gen. When this gen is looked back upon years from now games like that, along with NSMB and Wii Sports will be the ones spoken of. not Uncharted 2 or Ratchet..Hell ppl don't talk about ratchet now, LoL.

Fraction of the Budget? Sure boy, an HD game costs less than an SD game. That's news to me.
And second, Sorry to rain on your parade but Galaxy was head and shoulders above R&C. Sales don't Lie. Galaxy is closing in on 9m while R&C is where?
Sorry but if you feel that way why not stick to a PS3 section where others share your rather minority view point of Ratchet being superior to Galaxy.
Yet, here you are in the Wii section. Go play Uncharted 2 or Gears of War 2..You know games that have had more renditions this gen than either Metroid or 3-d Mario has.
It just looks so good and so fun. Was shocked to see nothing of its presence at the Media Summit. Don't care though, this game will be mine day one.
you what's funny though. The things like voice acting and other minor aspects don't really register on my radar at all. I'm more into the gaming aspect of..the game lol. Those are little touches that can help the presentations but other than that has very little bearing on the main focal point which for me is the gameplay and content.
But that's just me. There will always be those who will find something to complain about, I suppose.
Is one of the greatest game series ever, period. The trilogy available on Wii is a must buy. I hope no one tries to downplay or marginalize Retro's masterpieces. I don't care how hyped they are with Other M. In fact I'm using Retro's interpretation as the benchmark for how good this game will be.
Other M is a different take on the Metroid Universe and looks to pay homage to the classic Metroid like Super and the original and Fusion. Different doesn't neccessarily mean better. ...
Can only make people aware of the product. I'm more interested in the game being incredible than the sales being incredible. Because I believe if it is an incredible game sales will take care of itself.
The important thing is that the game is economical. In that it makes more $ than it cost to make. And I believe it will have no problems doing that.
Metroid has never been a huge seller. But it does have a cult like following. Could this be the title that breaks...

Impressions from Gonintendo actually likened it to an old school beat em up in the vein of streets of rage. In terms of control. Its a good read. Should check it out Evil.

Definitely would have been a welcome addition. But at the same time, my favorite singleplayer game this gen (Prime 3) didn't have Multiplayer and in my opinion was better for it. Some games aren't meant to be experienced in groups and instead focus on the immersion on an individual player. I never played RS1, but I am greatly anticipating 2.
