Yea, the story I thought was actually almost the best part. I thought they did a good job with the radios describing events as they unfolded, but yea the enemy respawns were laughable. HVS did a good job their first time out of the gates. We will see what the sequel has for us though as this will be where the fruits of HVS labor better be shown.
Personally I've been to that forum where these are from and about 5-10 HVS members including Eric Nofsinger post regularly. I have to also agree. The Conduit was good when thinking about controls, but had level design and Ai problems.
The fact is Nintendo is the only one who really pushes the games they sell on Wii. They push every game for months from tv ads, print ads, web ads. As well as doing "demo parties" in various cities to get people to try the game before it is even out.
Third parties don't do jack sh!t when it comes to marketing support or pushing game awareness. Hell EA was so confident that Dead Space Extraction was going to sell...
Actually famitsu has nothing to do with the estimates, they simple get their info from enterbrain. Famitsu doesn't actually MAKE the estimates.
Regardless enterbrain "estimates" their numbers, so why are they allowed here when it is a guess? Lets put it this way, you see the title? See how the title makes you believe that those numbers are real? Media Create are the NPD of Japan. Enterbrain(where Famitsu gets it's numbers from) are nothing more than a prediction. ...
Why are these "estimated guesses" from Famitsu allowed? How is this able to be posted yet VGChartz is not. Famitsu should not be able to be posted here seeing as they guess what Media Create sales will be.
"Wii sells really well that it somehow places it in the same category as the other 2 are also wrong.' You have to understand that Sony and Microsoft are both incumbents and go where the market already is only with "slightly" better improvements over the last iterations(this strategy goes for almost everything in the company, not just video games). Problem is neither company has the same business strategy as Nintendo which used the blue ocean strategy and Harvard's own Cla...
If it isn't a rail shooter, I'm not buying it. Extraction is the only Dead Space I care about because EA finally did things right with the franchise on Wii.
@ Lightning "It's selling well enough, but not for the business world. They're interested in growth, not stagnant (but good) sales. It does seem counter-intuitive, but stakeholders in the company will want more expansion- constantly bigger profits than the previous year. It's all about the growth of share values."
Am I reading this correctly or are you trying to say that shareholders for Nintendo, who are making profit, are worried and should now gain more HD cons...
I can't believe sh!t like this is still considered 'news'. The man's words are like estimates from VGChartz and Famitsu. Yet, are allowed here as news when they are nothing, but guesses.
The man has almost never been right with Wii because trying to predict a blue ocean strategy doesn't work. Hence the reason why Sony and Microsoft, which have smarter business men working at it than Pachter, have yet to figure out how Wii sells like it does. And no, copying motion controls will n...
GoNintendo would have to be the best though, Nintendo Dpad sure did have some good news from time to time.
Edit: Just realized the link doesn't work anymore, wish people could have seen what was written because it was very true about gaming blogs in general.

Concept art looks really good!
You guys are crazy if you think that is true.

This isn't news, but rumors.
Sorry, but posting an incomplete list so you can "beat" other sites to hits should not be allowed.
I see Nintendo Everything do this every week. I am just saying it should not be allowed.
Nintendo is really trying to crack down on homebrew.

(sarcasm)
Wow, even with a worst case scenario, Wii still wins? Crazy.

Third parties just need to stop treating Wii owners as if they were second bananas.
Wonder what EA has coming that is sooo innovative?
Kotaku has always been full of crap.
Just looking at the numbers provided by Ubisoft. Nothing more.
System 2009 2008
DS 23% 37%
PC 17% 14%
PS2 2% 3%
PS3 15% 21%
PSP 5% 4%
Wii 22% 11%

other 2% 0%
The following are statements concerning the Wii...
'some games are meeting expectations, some are not.'
"Rabbids Go Home is taking off."
'the Wii has a high penetration and can be very profitable with quality software.'
Seems as though PS3 was the one Ubisoft l...
