That is wild lol. Steam already does this for some games depending on the developer...but man...all digital games on ps5...
Hope so. I believe this game deserves it the most and will definitely need a lot to overhaul compared to black flag. It's really hard for me to play this game again lol

Frame gen just has too much latency and visual glitches for me, don't think I can ever use it for most games. I'd compare with it on and off and it's a world of difference in the feel. I need the very least input lag in my gaming. Companies should rely on actual optimization. As for potato hardware, I suppose it could have it's use.
Odd Nintendo doesn't really advertise nor push more for dlss as it's the one big advantage it has over the other consoles and pc handhelds. PSSR unfortunately is only available for pro owners.
Dear god I hate the controls, slowness and clunkiness (hopefully future patches will keep improving it)...but the exploration and combat are very fun. I'm looking at the game like an MMo, no story, just gameplay and lots of exploration because that story is terribly mid lol.
Good to hear. We don't get many games like this that actually have quality open world and great optimization any more. More than enough content that actually justifies the $70 price tag as well. Reviews are good but there are some that are quite mixed. A game that you'll either really like or just don't. If exploration is fun and good quality rather than just boring generic stuff then I think I can vibe with it.
Good for old hardware...but should not be standard for more recent hardware.

Tried the demo and it was alright. Nothing crazy. Will pick it up on sale maybe. And we'll see how long it lasts I suppose.

I thought it was Sony's final say as they own the ip....who the hell knows? The only game that is stuck at 1080p... 30 frames... and one platform out of all the from games, and arguably one of the very best. Very unfortunate Sony and/or fromsoft is being like this with the title.
They can simply just remaster the game for ps5 and PC, make millions of sales, have fans very happy and all would be fantastic lol.
I'd guess it'd just be updated but still retains the original's style at its core? If they're doing all 3 games, then I think it will mostly just be a huge visual fidelity upgrade much like the crash, spyro, spongebob and demons souls remakes to save some dev time.
Greed, overconfidence, agendas, western focused, and live service really changed em...6 years and barely any knockouts as great as the previous gens...what a generation ps5 has.
PlayStation needs restructuring. Make Japan their main HQ and focus again. It's what made the previous gens so special and of great quality without all this BS. Bluepoint being closed down among their other great smaller studios has really gotten me disappointed in them.
