That picture is freaking epic! D!ck move if they go through with it. However, one positive is that it will make my decision on which console to buy first/at all a whole lot simpler!
I'd even be happy with just a Wii U if SONY follows suit.

Well done Ubisoft, well done. Impressive results. With Rayman Legends coming to all HD consoles, 2013 is looking bright for Ubi.
Everybody's making so much money.
SONY should consider going multiplatform on their software. Hear me out before you lynch me. They make such great games but their hardware production is a money blackhole. I mean they made $6 million during the festive season!
6 freaking million! Something's gotta give. At least release some gam...

Ha ha ha ha. That there is a keeper. Totally how I imagined Project Natal before it became Kinect. Bubs

Oh yeah!! I love Rayman Origins, its in my top 10 games of the generation.
I'm stoked it's coming to a console I already own. Thanx for sharing Ubisoft.

Not true. I made someone who bought the game new happy because he could make a lil money back and thus feel comfortable to buy more new games and contributing to the industry

I buy most of my games used. I bought Uncharted 2 and God of War 3 used for R80 ($9) each last year. I rarely ever pay more than R150 ($16.50) for my games and I've played alot of recent games including Witcher 2, Max Payne 3, Reckoning and Mass Effect 3.
Lets not forget peer to peer trading. The only way I've managed to play over 120 titles this gen is through trading with other gamers.
Blocking used games is a horrible idea!

I played 1 when it launched and I still had a PS2 back then. I only just got a PS3 last year october and I've only had the opportunity to play the following on ps3
UC 2 (meh way overrated in my opinion, graphics are nice but I found the gameplay lacking and the story rather predictable)
BF3 (< BFBC 2)
GT5 (good)
Killzone 3 (meh, pretty graphics, not much else)
Assassin's Creed Revelations (wow! So tired so samey)
God of War 3 (o...

I want to play a game set after the events of ME3. New characters and new(modified) abilities

I hope it's a new non fps IP. I've played 2 Killzone games (1 and 3) and they both left me with a meh feeling. I'm ready for something better.

I know that I don't know anything concrete about them. Is that a lie too?

Gribbs buddy, would it kill you to actually read past the headline and try taking a gander at the actual article? If you had you'd realize this isn't just about the TV department but SONY as a whole.

Sony also stated they expect 16 million psp's and vita sold by March 2013 so lets not pretend its some sort of marathon and they are on pace. They aren't.

Hey I'm confused. That Reuters article said they were in the black. This says they made yet another loss. Yikes, 8 in a row, thats rough.

Not true, this report covers only up until December 31, they sold that building sometime in January if I recall correctly. So that 1.1 billion will be in the next report.

Finally. Just putting the facts in one place here so please mods, do not hurt me.
Q3 results for gaming divisions as per Microsoft, Nintendo and Sony reports:
Microsoft - $542.3 million in profit for Xbox business (Xbox 360)
Nintendo - $450 million in profit (DS, 3DS, Wii, WiiU)
SONY - $6 million in profit for the games business (PS2, PSP, PS3, PS VITA)
Profits all around. Yay.
Looks like whatever Microsoft is doing is working for them. ...

Best. Article. Ever!

Kinda sad really. SONY expected 10 million Vita sales back when their forecast was 16 million handhelds. Now they expect 7 million handhelds sold in total.
So for the love of all that is sanity, will people now stop claiming the VITA is selling within range of what SONY expected? That "low end" of expected range speech was balls. You don't go from 16 million to 12 million to 10 million to 7 million and expect people to believe everything is still within expected range. ...
