its pretty much confirmed to be on ps4. I remember seeing job posting by soe that listed pc along with ps3 for platform experience. That was 2 years ago, so obviously they moved on to put the game on ps4 instead of ps3 like planteside2.
Every title except TLOU are third party and they want to maximize their sales so they are not going to initially block a huge install base that will likely buy the ps3 verison more than the ps4 verisons at launch.

i wonder how gaikai bc would work. Lets assume it works. For psn purchases, it should be easy because gaikai can check your account download history and find which games you own on psn.
Yet for ps3 retail games, how can they check if you own the game. Yes, you can check game save data or trophies but that doesnt mean you own the game. You could have rented a game and still have some record on your account.

first of all what game conferences are you talking about? e3 right. ms and nintendo typically have not shown major or really anything at gamescom or tgs so they rely on e3 more heavily than sony does because they do use gamescom and tgs for some big reveals. Plus this was a console announcement at the beginning of the year.

this is weird. esp has a 3 title deal with sony. twisted metal is the first one of the deal so either sony felt it wasnt worth to continue the relationship or having jaffe leaving forced esp to go the mobile route. still i cant believe esp only had 34 (before the layoffs) employees creating a full fledged ps3 game. in comparison nd has close to 200 employees in 2 teams.

all we know is that sce is helping capcom with technical expertise for developing deep down on ps4 so its possible that they are offering help with the engine. I would assume if sce is helping with the engine they would want capcom to sign a deal to only use the engine on the ps4 and not for other platforms.
