haha...the thing about percentages is that they are worthless...if there were 100 360s in Japan, and then next week there are 200, yes, the growth was is 100%, while lets say PS3 with 1000 units grows 10%, not as impressive percentage, yet the same amount in terms of numbers...so hooray for idiots playing with numbers
hey maybe just maybe the market is big enough to support both platforms healthy...also, the PS2 base was 100 million+ (and still growing) waiting to upgrade so even if MS/Sony split the user base, they are still profiting from it
so...bottom line the game is fun and super addictive, isn't that what is socom known for? granted, there were/are lots of issues but once you get over them the game is awesome...
dude...every single exclusive is GOTY, or it may seem...MGS4 GOTY, no FABLE2 GOTY, no LBP GOTY, no GeoW GOTY....and just because they want an exclusive to win this award...pure fanboyism...I'll be laughing at all ur faces when maybe a multiplat game (gtaiv, fallout 3 or mirros edge) comes and takes the crown...(although I hope gtaiv does not get it since I think it was a big let down)

I think they got to the top because they made the best mp3 players...and just look at the iPod Touch/iPhone...so if they have a monopoly it's because of their product quality. Microsoft have a kind of dark history since its beginning (if not, just look how Windows came to be). However, MS does have a bunch of great products, unfortunately they do get treated harsher in some cases.

agree...too many good games coming out...GeoW2, Fable2, Fallout3, DeadSpace, LBP, R2, PES09...even Socom (I am a huge Socom fan, and even with all the problems it has had...when you get to play it is extremely fun). Those are the games I'm getting (I will be broke for x-mas)

ok, i was not in the beta so i don't know how searching for levels work...but I guess that there has to be keyword based...so as retarded as the ppl making this levels, there are bigger retards searching for "pEnIs..." as a keyword...and then they go to their blogs and post how outrageous this is....I bet the people "finding" this video are the same ones creating it...
i dunno man....this game is awesome, but i think Sony has not done their job marketing it...have not seen a tv commercial (maybe i don't watch enough tv)...I have no doubt that this game will sell consoles and it will hit record numbers in a matter of weeks...but I still think it could be better if Sony would've done a huge commercial campaign
for what is worth...GeoW kicked a$$ with its glitches and all...GeoW2 will be at least as entertaining as GeoW1 (at least, probably a lot more though) with or without glitches...yes it is unfair for ppl that don't take advantage of those but when you kill some one crab walking or glitching, the pleasure that it brings is priceless...so you know what, bring on the glitchers, I for one will have a huge smile when I kill one of those :)
