Well, the stereoscopic 3d in a game like uncharted 3 does require it to draw/process 2x the frames as opposed to 2d. So ultimately, NOT having to do that, would/should increase 2d performance and visual fidelity. BUT, since you can't have a huge difference in appearance from the 2 modes, one needs to find a middle ground.
The fact that is looks as good as it does, all while being able to pull of these visuals with 3d, is quite a feat in my opinion.
You totally, totally! Missed the point, just because you saw the word unrealistic, you got your panties in a bunch because you think im taking a stab. Hun, if its so much better, then go play your game...then you can hear the same car noise even when your REFERENCE point is sitting on the bonnet, the trunk, hanging of a door....or playing soccer, because in real life, thats how it would be. Right?
I can tell the guy is not using REAL in grass/side strip grip option. Come on Tuesday!
The difference, my sugar cookie, is that gt5 is truly dynamic in its sound, not as if your head is taped to the part of the vehicle that holds the motor, all while being able to listen to the exhaust notes at the same time as if ure standing right behind the vehicle. The best car sounds in gt5 are in the replay as the camera pans low and behind your car. If unrealistic vrrrooooooommmmmmm all the time is so important, there are many racing games available, just not this sim.
...
This has got me really excited for future tracks.
We need more course maker templates too!!! Like true mountain togue with increased elevation and a city template would be very nice as well.
Come on Tuesday!
...principle...
See there is a lot being done that is nickle and diming the consumer and its being done in the guise of combating used games sales, piracy, or the best one..."to supportz the fanz". One of these is DLC. While all DLC is, is a form of microtransaction for very little meat. Publishers and doing this left right and center and always with some spiel...but at the end of the day, they still make a shitload of money.
Ex. Deus Ex:HR: You go ...
I wholeheartedly agree. And if its a game that doesn't have an online component but you gots beef with the publisher for a good reason, buy the game used...stings just as much. Hi Bethesda!
damn mother******* straight!
But the Gearzerz, and Forzaz...Kinectz, is da bestest, the media says so, period.
I remember playing Land of the Lounge Lizards on my 286 with 12.5 mhz and 256kb of ram. then I upgraded with a 256kb module to play Commander Keen...
oh my...those where the days.
I still say 'Boo Sony' for the meagre 24".
you and your mate see two different images because instead of the TV using the 3D tech to display a simulated 3D image, both your left and right eye are sent the same signal (as opposed to a 3D image requiring slightly different images in each eye), resulting in a NON 3D regular image. Hope that helps without getting too technical.
*facepalm* and the shenanigans continue...here, this might help, the alternate source, with properly formulated headline:
Hori Announces Licensed Mouse & Keyboard Controller For PlayStation 3
Wowie wow, calm down people. I like how this is spun Sony this Sony that....Sony isnt announcing which games compatiibibibib... Durr. Guys and gals, this product is, you ready, LICENCED by Sony, which means Sony is okay with this product being associated with the brand. This does not mean Sony is responsible to make games for it or patch games for it to work with them. Hori is simply making a controller device for the ps3.
I was SOOOOOOO hyped for this...then I found out its using the unreal engine...thanks, that was easy. Next!
