Don't usually agree with you, but you hit the nail on the head with this one.
I would very much suggest you try a good 3d tv kit with a game like ICO HD if you are able at a mates house. Also, just recently, I got the Demo for Hardboiledchicken off of PSN, thinking "what could 3D do for a 2D game?", boy was I WRONG! I now whole heartedly hope that the new Rayman game has proper 3D as a feature, because its just wow.
Movies are alright, games with proper 3D are where its at.

One of the things I wish, is that games like this would take a bit more of a, I know alot of people are going to misunderstand this, realistic approach to CERTAIN things. I know I know its fantasy and all that... but...an example might illustrate better.

I READ (gasp) the article. The issue with the review is not the numberZZzzzz it got, but with what was said. Most notably calling it "ultimately shallow" due to the (as per the reviewer) lack of player control over the onscreen character and camera.

Just passed this last night, on hard at 10h18m. This is a clown ass review. Is it a perfect game? No not really. I generally don't care about numerical scores but what is written in the meat of a review. So to write that its not mind blowing or innovative is just, wow. yes the core gameplay is the same, but its the sum of all its parts that make it epic.
