There's a difference between a "sale" and a "PRICE CUT".
Using big, scary words like "amid" doesn't justify the sensationalism.
So, what you're saying is that Nintendo have released in Europe on average 2 games per week since launch.
Not a bad number.
When did Nintendo come out and PROMISE that a bunch of companies they have nothing to do with would devote development time and millions of dollars in making games for their console?
The only thing Nintendo has promised is that Nintendo will support Wii U. Which it is doing.
It's not a news article, it's an opinion article.
N4G wouldn't exist if people didn't submit articles....
You're wrong, that's not how we roll.
Some sites, maybe. Not ours.
Admittidly, I didn't read this article... but Nintendo have had ONE posted loss in over 124 years.
ONE.
That's... one. Think about that number for a second.
They've been through at least FIVE serious recessions/depressions. They've been through countless economic downturns. They even survived a war in which their home country was nuked.
This is a resilient company by any stretch of the imagination. To suggest ...
Your great grandmother should give you some pointers ;)
This article is nothing but empty speculation. It doesn't even pose any theories as to why it will not appear on Wii U, other than the fact that someone apparently once said that BF4 will be on "next generation consoles", ignoring the fact that for all intents and purposes, Wii U is a "next generation console", especially when you compare it to consoles that were on the market at the time of Battlefield 3 releases.
If the author did a little research, ...
And nary a shit was given.
The hell are you talking about?
The people who were talking about how good PlayStation 4 was at the PlayStation 4 event were people employed by Sony OR people who had exclusive contracts with Sony like Blizzard and Ubisoft (Watch Dogs will have PlayStation exclusive features because....... yes. Sony PAID them for it).
I didn't mention Nintendo. All I said was that claiming that "developers were impressed" is ignorant, because the ONLY developers...
Read the article and its conclusion.
What developers were impressed with PS4?
The ones Sony own, or the ones they paid to be on stage at the announcement? I haven't seen any others come up and praise the machine.
Of course, I'm not saying PS4 isn't good, etc, I'm just saying that claiming "developers were impressed" when the only ones with thoughts on the matter were clearly hand picked by Sony is a bit of a stretch.
Also, I'm aware that this isn...
"ad hominem"
Yep. He's 100% credible.
*rolls eyes*
Source?
Then you'd be making money on making stupid comments like that one.
What could possibly be wrong with that?
They very well might announce PlayStation 4, but remember, Sony have fallen on harsh times recently in terms of revenue and profit. Note I said "SONY" which is different to "PLAYSTATION".
So, if Sony need to hype something up, even a small announcement (or an announcement that isn't PS4) to garner support and hype, then I don't see why they couldn't hire a 1,200 seated room to show off a product that isn't PS4.
For example...
If Wii U is doomed, Vita is doomeder. XD
So, a no-name developer from New Zealand who has not had ANY hits, ever, comes out and says he has some kind of ultimate data from an un-named game that "someone" assumed would sell millions of copies but only sold tens of thousands?
It seems to me from speaking to developers (I interview people for a living), there are ZERO complaints about Wii U development.
Sales, on the other hand, aren't 100% Nintendo's problem. If you look at Call of ...
Wow, a lot of people are saying something like "consoles should be really powerful so developers can innovate".
I disagree with this theory.
If you look at the games that people call the "most innovative of 2012", NONE of them leverage the system's power at all.
Games like Journey or The Unfinished Swan or Escape Plan for Vita -- not one of the "most innovative games" of last year required any more processing...
"EA is the WORST COMPANY IN THE WORLD!!!"
*Doesn't announce one game for Wii U*
"Hahahahahaha I agree with everything EA does!!!"
The internet, everyone.
