You dont get it, those movies are made by fans and their OWN money and then set online for free..the companies do not care about those. The diff with this one is they were making money from a property they do not own. And that is where the problem lies.
This looks silly. Kinect is for bowling and exercise games. Not fighters. I do not want to get up and air fight my friends. give me a Stick and or gamepad.

This is why Netflix and all apps should be accessible outside of Gold. Ill never fully grasp why they make it this way.
My only thing, lets say i cancel xbox live, and its the ONLY device i can stream Netflix to. But i still keep my netflix, this means i cant even stream Netflix to my tv anymore. It makes no sense.

As a matter of fact, i would take it more from someone other than Nelson. Because he works for the company and he isnt going to downplay any of the features. Now if he had spoken about the PS4 or some other device then maybe. But its his own device, of course hes excited even if he really isnt. But hes not going to say that to the public.

I remember way back on PS1 days with memory cards, i had Xenogears saved on it, made it to the last disk. And my sister ended up throwing it out. All those hours wasted cuz of a dumb memory card. I do not miss those days.

It really isnt the same thing, if my connection goes out. Then i know that i cant play that game. The difference lies in not being able to play the CONSOLE. Regardless of what game is being played. If my internet is down, then common sense tells me that i cant play an Online MMO. But i should be able to play Fable 4 or Mass Effect 4 or even Forza if i am playing the single player mode. So its just a slightly different scenario. They are saying you cant play this Single Game, MS was telling us...
Here's an idea, stop selling games for 60 dollars. If you sell a game lower, maybe people will stop feeling the need to wait and buy it used. Do you really expect people to continue investing 60 bucks to a game that can be finished in 5 hours? Why should i pay 60 bucks for Barbies Playhouse? Not all games are created equal and im tired of every game coming out good or bad, being 60 bucks. Makes no sense. I never understood how people can pay 60 bucks 2-3-4 times a month in some cases. But having to pay 50 bucks a YEAR is some how too much. Come on, when you put money in to something you get better service. The PSN service will only get better from here on out. i think what sucks tho is that the 100 price difference is clearly cuz of kinect, which most people dont even want... or dont want at launch. If they just sold that seperately, they could have come in at 399 price point. But no, they are forcing it on people while upping the price.
In theory it could almost be like books, how you have the physical copy which runs at one price. Then you have the digital version which is usually a few dollars cheaper. It could have worked the same way. I think MS screwed up by not showing WHY someone would want this other than, this is the future. Well no, i dont want that. Show me where i save 5 bucks on Digital downloads then we can talk about this future.
It doesn't sound like the features are cut for good, just that they have to go back to the drawing board. I wouldn't be surprised if some of these features don't show up in the yearly updates in the near future. Because i really don't see how enabling disc, disables sharing of content if that's what a user who bought his games digitally wants to do. Also question, if the games that i bought digitally will be with me where ever i go. Does that mean the games aren't save...
I don't understand this deal, why would someone buy the 360 version just to buy the Xbox One version later? Dont both games come out at the same time? And if you are getting an xbox one this year or at launch, why worry about 360 versions? It makes no sense to me. Now if this was a long term deal for people who may pick up xbox one next year then i could see the purpose.
