why would you want a game to flop, Massive has put years of hard work into the snow drop engine before even beginning the Division. if it flops, many will be out of jobs. why wish that on anyone. just sounds like your very immature
kojima didnt want to make any more after MGS3. Konami forced him to. so yes the stories have gone down hill since then. the choices in Design in the sense of emersion were perfect for MGSV. the fact you could walking/crouch/prone your way into a base will all tranq rounds only to star a fire fight and have to switch combat tactics cant happen smoothly in alot of games.
Story, that was konami as ther was alot more supposed to be in the game, but konami cut it.

Titanfall was a failure, otherwise they wouldnt be making noise about how Titan Fall two is going to have a single player campaign. it also failed because it was an xbox exclusive which cut the potential players in half if not more.
Rocket League, since when was that Multiplayer only? theres a single player offline mode. so that point is moot. im not sure about Forza Horizon, if its strictly online, i assume its something similiar to a Need for Spee...
i would prefer a true Choose your own adventure style for them. not one set story you have to follow, i was a trader in Skyrim, i spent my time getting rich, why the fuck would a trader doing good in his job risk it by going and battling a dragon.
if we become fighters or magic users or rogues, yes give us a combat heavy story, but if we want to become potion makers, let us solve a disease or something, if we are a trader, a lost artifact. sooo many options
