i ttunred off all my notifications, so nice having a clean screen
just got to torment 7 on my hardcore seasonal necro. fun times with friends thats for sure
@Sunny_D
you do loose control of kratos though during GOW.
its more about no cuts in the game from the moment it starts (unless you reload/die) everything else happens on screen, loading is hidden behind the bifrost scenes. no loading in levels has been done before, but this is the first game to have no load screen throughout the entire game.
read the full title, appreciate my dad more.
emphasis on the more part, meaning he already appreciated his dad
not gonna lie BLK,
i chuckled at that, i know i have said that in the past
Most of the errors on this website are from a bad autocorrect.
But yes I have, including in my scripts I've submitted
@Gangsta
and in all honesty, i feel Gow could have taken a little longer in certain points of the story.
the plot of the game is to spread Faye's ashes at the highest peak.
The story, from beginning to end in its simplest form. Plot points throughout the game create challenges that the protagonist must overcome, either through new gain power, or new knowledge to help defeat the antagonist.
The structure its self is quite simple in regards to rising action, climax, resolution and such.
if the game didnt include the plot points that happen through...
already put in my application for a writing position. hopefully luck is on my side.
iot will be, thats the next update
@newuser
Culling, H1Z1 and Arma 3
well to be devil's advocate here,
most of the work is probably being done in episode 1 like assets and locations, animations and effects, meaning they can carry all that over to the 2nd and probably 3rd episode minus small changes to ease development time and stress.
personally, i enjoyed the world of HZD mkore than Gow, as it felt more lived in, but itis understandable as the setting for GOW mad eit so everyone was in hiding.
story though, GOW is miles ahead of HZD, not saying that HZD had a bad story, just that SSM has more experience in that regard than guerilla
umm peter parker in the main character, and unless you have never read a spiderman comic, Mary jane is a major part of Parkers life.
if your talking about how Miles is in the game, Grow up, parker isnt the only spiderman. and in some cases Miles is better
oh please big game,
"endless adentures with your pirate friends" is much more gimmick than a decision to do a open shot camera which no only affected the script for the game, but also level design, plot points, how they have to build the antagonists.
its alot more than just deciding to not include cuts to cinematic moments.
thats what he was talking about, not just makign sure that the player is in the general right area but in terms of level design making sure the player going in the right direction. the only time i noticed it was a little tooo scripted was when we first encountered the draugrs in the tutorial, it takes control away and turns us to the right to see a draugr go after atreus
@ob1
Obviously as the world serpent is there.
It's the first game to have a single shot for the entire game
No it's about pre rendered CGI scenes instead of using at least I game cinematics. Gow is just the extreme where they not only used I game scenes but also ensured no cuts would happen
yeah, my only gripe about the game is lack of variations to the stun grabs and only one animation for when kratos dies
