Difference between those games and NMS is that NMS is Procedural Generation, not Random Generation. there is a difference.
Procedural will take into account distance planet is to its sun. how much gravity is on the planets, the oxygen levels, temperatures. Random genreation just takes assets and puts them in the areas.
but if the events or drops are litterly like small fire fights or some electronics then its not too bad. if it ends up being high end gear dropping, thats a pay-2-win scene waiting to be called out

if thats the case, it should cost more than 60 becuase mid development their studio was flood and they had to start over. still think it should be determined by the cost to make?

one of his many iterviews, Sean stated its multiplayer but not in the normal sense of meeting up and playing together, unless you take the time to find eachother, but it is possible.

Its procedural, you wont need mods, and its online so mods probably wont be supported
they've been working on the game for 10 years. preproduction is still working on it. it wasn't ever put on hold, just a smaller team working on aspects of it, at the time it was versus 13 a 3rd person style action sections along side the RPG elements.
if they only cared about money, they first wouldn't be giving away games for free through Games with Gold and BC.

its actually the limitations the Windows App has. becuase the games are built for windows 10 they are apps, and have restrictions like Vsync and stuff. nothign to do with streaming. you're just spouting lies now

if all MS exclusive games end up on PC then there isnt a point to buy an xbox. and people will end up with a PS4/PC combo

it most likely is, im guessing you arrive in brooklyn or were stationed to live ther, and after the outbreak happens, you have to work your way into manhattan to find the source and cure. in a trailer they released they say we have to get into Manhattan as they are looking at the bridge
is procedural generation, not random genreation. every planet in the game, alone with every creature on that planet is a mathematical equation. if one planet is too close to its sun, most likely wont have any life on it, but there may be rare materials. planets with low oxygen will have smaller creatures, planet with more will have larger creatures more vibrate colors. its all based off of toxicity of planet, gravity, how close to sun, if theres moons circling planet.
games have actually never been cheaper. due to inflation we should all be spending upwards of 100$ per game not 60 starting
