Sony owns Gaikai, a streaming company, that they use for ps now.
In regards to streaming games, Sony is ahead of the pack on this one
I wouldn't count on it.
Here in Toronto, we are only now starting to get Fiber. The infrastructure isn't in place yet to make streaming the norm. This is one reason I think that the cloud hasn't exactly panned out the way MS was expecting.
But it may have held of some new players from buying for a week or two.
To deny the fact that there were copies that were given for free is to live in a dream world. There were people who waited to buy the console, including the one x and waited for the Pubg combo

And realistically, there's no reason why KJP wouldn't make the MP things true, heck, to this day no one has properly seen the cinematic if all the nukes are disbanded from mgsv.

They added MT into a game that didn't have it originally. Doesn't matter if its free to play. They add mt into games that don't need it or required it for the original.
the way i read it is it would kill MP for everyone, it has to be a global initiative to do it might be something similar to global bosses in some games where everyone needs to work to gether to hack away at the HP bar
