I have a feeling that Sony didn't deliver the full experience this gen that they wanted to hence we are seeing a more powerful console (supposedly as I still dont believe it's more than a 4k blu ray and upscale chip) I think the leaks we've seen are early planning for ps5 to tell the truth and everyone is worrying for nothing. I'm happy with my ps4 but would always take an upgrade if available.

1. The specs for the game aren't that great it's just a very poorly optimised mess. It even looks about the same as the remake of TLOU and that was a last gen game only with some flashing up

Congratulations. You won't be missed. And yes once emulation comes there'll be no reason to have either console. The issue is that once emulation comes we will be onto ps5. I'll bet we will get this every gen now. Launch console then update console 4 years later to extend the cycle to 8 years then a completely new platform after that 8 year period

People want that 60fps. For me that is enough to purchase. Screen tearing annoys the hell out of me. If I can get the same graphics at 60fps I'm happy to pay for another console. That is easily achievable using the same disk with these x86 systems
