You're really stretching it . Last i checked , last year , last E3 , the people always dissatisfied (of which i'm somewhat 50/50 part of on a regular basis) were the same , but fans were happy .
We all know that while it's nice to see short term released titles demoed or announced , part of the allure of E3 , is to makes you dream about the future .
Nintendo Direct might not be an e3 conf , so they could look removed from that and all the drama , ...
The FGC doesnt care for your fanboy crusade in the console wars . No one is going to take seriously someone praising Killer Instinct WHILE trashing Street Fighter .
You dont even look credible on the tech side either , more flashy lightning is just that , flashy lightning .
PS for others : Careful i'm not even trashing KI , it's a good game with tons of great ideas actually ... but it's not of the stature of Street fighter and others like Mortal Kombat
He probably didnt even notice that the displayed version of the game was sped up to Street 2 Turbo level after feedback ...
But i suspect he wouldnt care to notice any change anyway and anyhow
In the 90s , our fps wouldnt lock content away under grind . It would reward exploration or give you instant action thrills .
Still It feels as if he's being sour about his games not getting much exposure in retail , which is understandable , but it's not as if his games were generating a lot of interest online either or from genre that actually had a chance of striking gold easily .
It ado to , mimic the rant of a semi successful indie filmaker complaining about the movie industry and "how it's dying" .
And people should be careful with nostalgia . "the i...
It was bad , Tales studios went bankrupt as a result and merged entirely with their publisher, Bandai Namco Games .
Not really , advertising actually works pretty well on kids . Add in peer pressure and or hype , they'll make the parent purchase stuff they dont need .
Just look a the mobile market
Yeah well do not . It even goes back to the "Batman Arkham" well to try proving some points . A system very cinematic indeed , but a plague of sort to most other games using it , and very unchallenging .
My issue here is that you try to pass such opinions as actual rules for making combat engageing , rather than simply admitting that the natural flow and ebe of the W3 , and the tediousness of preparations and signs , isnt for your taste .
There is p...
Judgeing from the response you're gathering , it's more important for people , at least those here , to co-op more easily even at the expense of pvp . Sucks for you guys , maybe , but it's how it is ... since they decided on this system that was detrimental to mp , compared to how it used to be in Demon and Dark .
Co-op was pretty much dead ... with everyone secluded into their own bracket , if they didnt start at the same time ... and if they dont care for LFPs p...
Bastion is indeed shorter than the whole of Van helsing . No problem there .
But the average main quest completion for Titan Quest is usually 25-30 hrs without diving into the extra stuff , wich is usually bigger for all games listed here . Same goes for Torchlight ... Nox etc
People rush speedrun Path of exile in roughly 20 hrs
Van helsing usually average 6-10 hours each chapter . It could holds up , except when you add everyone's extra...
I'm not sure you're helping your argument there . Those game got released in full at full retail price on pc yeah ... but still propose more content of arguably better quality .
it's nice to release shorter stand alone at stand alone prices , but their value is still to be judged compared to the competition , and well it's lacking .
EDIT : Proof ? Play Van helsing then and the competition , among those i mentioned , and tell me again if its ...
There a problem with that kind of argument imo . Most ténors of the genre , didnt start as giant games with giant and massively funded sequels . And most of those were done by studios of roughly the same size , without the opportunities of selling it on Steam , and in an episodic fashion .
Most of those also featured better games qualitatively speaking , and quantitatively seapking as well , all things considered , at the time of their releases .
Ok Diablo was a...
I'm hardly convinced that things turned sour just when Disney acquired Marvel and was a competititor for which Activision didnt feel like working with and for .
The game looked bleak from its early announcement and days .
It's too easy , the definitively crappy Kotaku wrote a hit piece about him, so now any of Dyack's poor decisions aren't his fault anymore ... including stuff before the kotaku article ?
There is a huge histor...
Quite honestly , while thanks and props should be given to the pc community .. whatever the reasons behind it , the game didnt sell as much as it could and should ... and certainly not as much as it already did on the 3 current platforms .
I remember that something as mediocre and average as Dragon Age 2 was even outselling it .
Console gamers dont have better tastes and logic , so it's not my point . But it's clear it has a better chance of being mor...
It's actually more in line with the artstyle from the sf4 cgi cutscenes than from the game's uber cartoony artstyle .
So nah it's not really similar , and actually more palatable so far to people who found SF4's art ugly .
Some people just like to whine or display their lack of actual knowledge on the franchise .
You see the same thing going on with Tekken , and some trolls doing their best not to see graphical changes despite the evi...
So you didnt even bother watching the video to spot the obvious move changes . But thanks for trying
I dont necessarily agree with it not affecting the Witcher . The serie is a pillar of pc gaming , but unlike gta and other behemots didnt receive in kind the sales to back up that status . Not with the first two games heavily pirated too , despite their tremendous support and goodwill .
Obviously , part of it is that splenty people didnt necessarily pirate it , just that they werent interested in purchasing it or felt they couldnt run it . Which is ok and their decision . <...
Except that's not even the entire point made here . At least a few brought up games when you're limited in interaction or where it's not the point ... and with people still able to socialize vocally , even because of the consoles' features .
Voice chat is in no way just limited to be used as a method to play games or understanding what to do .... it's a social activity and feature , part of the fun for plenty people . It's not about needing it to com...
You're being completely disingenuous . You know very well it's not present in a satisfactory fashion , given what people are discussing here .
Players are limited to talking to one another in the “lobby area” while waiting for a race to start. So no it doesnt really have it .
Smash Bros ? voice chat is only available before and after matches . So no it's not really there .
And you're mixing 3DS games even to have a point ? Wel...
even if somehow Gt and forza were remakes , you've got new ips all the time ... Even Ubisoft EA , and Activision are somehow introducing new ips every once in a while ... so i don't follow
