According to the last IMF GDP list for 2006, the United States accounted for 27.4 % of the world total GDP. 3 times higher the next closest, Japan at 4.4 trillion. California by it's self creates more in GDP than all, but 7 other countries.

and I don't think they can come out with Daytona anymore. Well I guess that depends on the Nascar contract with EA. Still, Sega has a lot potential money making IP's that really need some reinvigoration. An owner with better vision might help.

but you would think that MS would get the memo by now that their product is over priced. Has a console ever gone this long with such a small one time price drop?

but it would be nice if you could at least get them back under control. Add a few bruises.

and a lot place have it discounted. It works well with all the fighting games I have tried it with.

I just worry that the Wii is far more beneficial to Nintendo than the gaming industry. Certainly the Wii has a lot of pontential financially, I hope other can reap some of that outside of Nintendo.

and can you really blame MS for wanting to continue with a very successful IP, like Halo.

with Brett Favre on the cover, I'll at least have to take a long look at Madden this year. I just wish they would expand the multiplayer to 4 vs 4 in online play.

and the controller is a very big part of it. You still have to have the games to go with it. That requires time and money. I would rather MS spend their time and money else where, like their 1st party game line-up. How about sending Smith and Tinker some money so we can all see another Crimson Skies or MechAssault 3.

Yes, another Crimson Skies would be very nice indeed.

his wife is letting him host some lan matches. What else does some one need a dozen or so controllers for?

a good number of casual games that carry the "word of mouth" might. There are many factors driving current Wii sales. Word of mouth really drives Wii sales. Plus many people have their first exposure to the Wii via Wii Sports, which fun in a group, simple to play, and not intimidating to most people. MS has every right to try and capture that, I just don't think they can.

I was glad to hear there's another go happening with Viva Pinata.

really pissed me off. There have been a few others, but that one wasn't fun at all. If I had only known that all you need to do was follow him to end of his chase pattern.

has anyone ever labeled their box with the name of the motherboard or chipset the console is currently using.

At least over 5-6 year cycle. I mean 6 years is a long time in console years.

and not the PSP? I'll still check out the demo if they offer one.

I think it will depend on how profitable each one is come the end of 2009. The cycle must restart someday.

How many 3rd party games for the Wii do you really want to see on the 360. I just can't see 3rd party developers wanting to spend money and waste time porting game to the 360 just because some new controller is out. Companies have the right to do what they want, but this is one that MS should just stay out of.
