What company is going to invest the money and time to make games really stand out on our next-generation machines, when they could just add few touches with the lighting and resolution. know how much these companies really make of these games? It's got to be more than 15 bucks, there is no way these companies can make a profit on game only getting 15 bucks in funds back on a title. I didn't know this guy is from my state. Crap, the Florida Judiciary won't do a thing to him. Unless he's really boozing when he makes his absurd comments. We only see lawyers getting busted and disciplined in this state when they have had multiple drug or booze related run-in's.
well done game. Though boring after about the 600th mission, the terrorist hunt mission really were a lot of fun. Met some good players and really made for some strong team play at times. If they make appealing additional content, then I will be happy to send the developers some more of my money. It looks like some worthwhile content.
the controls on this game are not. It has a small learning curve. Once you understand the controls this game plays very well. I have at least managed to get into the top 1000 for post-grab matches won world wide.
Isn't the wholesale cost for this game around 40 dollars, with what a couple dollars for manufacturing and shipping and another 6-8 dollars going to microsoft? Wouldn't Capcom make closer to 30 bucks of a game like this?

they could have even more sales if Capcom would patch this game now instead of in over a month from now. The multiplayer exploits are getting frustrating, though most matches are still good.

but I thought some of the really hectic scenes where miss-leading. I have a good 200 plus online matches in and some boards are very intense, but not like the commericals.
I just can't believe how much money this game has cost with marketing. I hope it does well, cause I wouldn't mind some more content and a Lost Planet 2 someday. It's got a learnign curve, but once you've got it down it's much better than what some reviews give it.

at release, but still see cheating at times on ranked matches; especially team matches. Terrorist hunt offers more than enough fun, so I don't bother the other matches excepted to play them as unranked when things seem to be a little more less serious. in market dominence, then a price drop would be a powerfully competative move. The 360 is still priced to high IMO. The 360 has the games, with a very good 2007 line-up. If you want to really put some nails in your competitor, Sony; then drop the price on your product. It is a great valve, but it's still priced to high for securing market domination.
getting more content for Rainbow Six Vegas. The game came with some very good multiplayer maps and online gameplay modes. A larger disc space medium doesn't mean developers won't later come out with downloadable content. Particularly if they can make additional money off it and if it's good content, then I will be happy to pay them.

could make this very difficult for Sony if they would cut their prices by a 100 dollars across the board. 299 for a premium puts MS in much better position to secure market dominence. Both these system as it stands offer a lot for the money, but they are both too expensive to secure market control. I my opion there is no way Sony could counter a price cut move by MS and the 360 does have a really good collection of games.
