I say don't worry about, these rentals are over priced, as well as the downloadable version. It's cheaper to rent at your local rental store, or just flat out buy it at a store.
I was hyped for this service, but after seeing the prices, i'll pass. Even the anime i think it's $2.99 per episode possible $1.99. That's pretty hevay money spending, cheaper just to buy the season at the store.
They will more then likely use a solid state drive, not the typical hardrives with platters.
Don't forget re-released on the Gamecube.

Dvd-rom drive 1x = 1353 kb/s
Cd-rom drive 1x = 150 kb/s
Multiply that by the speed of the drive and you get what your read speeds.
With that said, just because a drive is slower does not mean it reads slower.
Thats what I was thinking. Sony would make some money off of the x360. But then again, maybe they will wait for the release of Final Fantasy 13, and then sell their stock, just to stick it to them for not remaining exlcusive. I belive Sony is the 2nd largest share holder of Square-Enix.
Hopefully this multi-plat will allow for more games from Square.
Optional for some game. Im sure some games are going to make it mandatory to have. Ever play Donkey Kong 64 with out the 4MB expansion pak on the N64? I doubt it.

The Wii's are a bit more expensive, and you have to buy the sister controller to go with it. Now maybe you are going to have to buy a third piece.
The same as befor this wii motion+ is just an extension of the wiimote.
Im not disagreeing with you, im sure Nintendo is happy. But what's with all these accessories. There is nothing there that says you have to buy it, but im sure it will be required to have to play some games. Just like the ram expansion pak for the N64.

I think it can be controlled, but you would have to mandate something like having to authenticate you own a legimate copy. Sorta of like Steam does with their games.
Every month, this consumer friendly console, is fast becoming the the console that has last gen. graphics, for next gen. prices.
Never ending games equal never ending spending of your money. Monthly fee. I don't mind that they charge to play each month, but why do they need to charge full price for the game.

Free Cell is a great way to pass the time, but I do play Solitary atleast once a day her at work.

Never heard of or read of Alice in any of the games.
Jill V. is in the first resident evil game with her partner Chris R., he has a sister named Clair R. she was in the last resident movie, and she had her own game Resident Evil: Code Veronica. I think she was also in part 2 with Leon from part 4. Pretty intresting story it has, but All I know is from the games, not the novels.
