That's why I invested in hand, to hand combat, and sneaking getting criticals damage shots, with a dart gun to cripple the legs. Paralyzing Palm anyone, is also fun, and sneaking up on robots to deactivate them usinf the robotics expert perk. I Also find it fun to plant a explosive in a pocket of a super mutant, or raider using the 'Shady Sands Shuffle'.

No vehicles, it's been said by one of the team members. Fallout wiki should have an article on it.

There was an article saying something like the cost to put a game on a Blu-ray disk. So to avoid the fee, they are making this game only a d/l version to PS3 owners, pretty lame IMO. I never heard of this game, and most likely will not get it, until I play a demo, and like it.

So is the game 'Pain', I was like WTF they just got bigger and bigger as each one had to d/l.

I think what he meant is some games don't allow you to d/l games/movies/demos, while playing certain game.

I played a few single player games that don't d/l stuff in the background (ex. GTA IV). But other games such as Fallout 3 lets background d/l happen.

I guess Sony would have to issue some sort of patch to bypass the game settings, and allow background d/l. Or issue some sort of mandatory programming into future game to allow background d/l.

Good riddance. These floppy drives were a pain in my butt, always getting corrupted disk. But I will keep a floppy drive just incase for the future where something is needing a floppy drive. I wonder what ever happened to that super floppy disk that held like 120MB of information, and no I am not talking about the ZIP Drive which was larger, and only held 100MB. These disc were the same size as a standard floppy.

Tuesdays sound good to me, seeing how, new releases are avaliable on Tuesday, but the games don't come out for sale until Wednesday. But if it did not change I would fine with that aswell. It's not like I can buy everthing that comes out, just the select few titles that intrest me.

WOW, $300 for that MUX HD. That would be an investment of $500 for both the items, not including a power HDMI switch/splitter box. Maybe i the future, when I have some extra cash, I could think about getting that Mux HD box.

But good info there, did not know about that thing.

Depends, but being an external unit, it probaly can't do HD, and even if it would allow you to, can your computer/laptop keep up with the encoding. I have a pretty decent computer, and I cant do 1080, but can do 720. Maybe if I upgraded the CPU it could do 1080, because I only see stutter ever 10 sec or so.

I have a HDMI capture card (avertv hd dvr), unfortunately it does not do a proper handshake with the HDCP, and I can not see the game, only the XMB. So I am forced to used the composite cables. Unlink the video, I have the HDMI cable going to the TV, and the Composite cables going to the computer, and all I have to do is switch display settings back and forth, rather then the cable. I did not look at the price of this capture device, but there are others out there that are USB such as Dazzle....

It's there so it can watch you while you sleep!

But yeah I agree it's there for calibration, like an automatic leveler used in construction.

Would create a bid war, and possible a partnership on developing a custom processor like Sony did with the cell. Who knows maybe even VIA could try and make a move into the gaming scene. Nintendo would use them most likely, as they are cheap to manufacture, and are power efficient.

5781d ago 0 agree1 disagreeView comment

This would create a monopoly, because I don't see people buying VIA processors for gaming other then power consumption. Like stated above Apple would over charge for their products, and Intel would follow suite because they have no direct competition to contend with, other then what people want, and how much they are willing to spend. I happen to own a couple of custom built computers using AMD processors, but I more of a fan of Intel. But I would not want to see this happen, unless some guid...

Your comment reminds my of the episode of Family Guy with Cookie Monster

Almost sounds like those pay to play games like WOW, Buy the game at full price, and still pay every month to play it. What's next going to my local grocery store on Sundays, and having to pay for samples. I think if this does happen, then I will just wait until the game comes out, and rent it for the 3 or 4 days, that's the only way I will pay for a demo. Then if I like it enough I might buy it.

I would still like to see a new Rival Schools game, even if it's just a a redone version of the original.

LOL, Ever time I go online to pay my direct tv bill they always ask me if I would like to stop receiving paper statements, and I will save $5 off the balance the next month. If they could offer me a $2-$5 off my balance for the duration of my continuation of their service then I would agree. Till then keep sending the paper statements, help me save money, and I will help you save money.

I doubt you will get a discount for buying a game that has no paper in it. But let me guess ...

LOL, the N64 I guess but who actually played that thing upside down. The only console I ever had to play up side down was the PS1, so the disc could spin at the correct speed. As for the Golden Eye cover art, I owned the game at one time, I could see it is his hand holding the gun. The whole could and grass thing never really dawned on me, as for Toad flipping us off perhaps, but who had an 8bit HD tv back then. The Bomberman could be a reference, but who knows.

Yeah, but I think not entirely sure, that The Hulk will punch back.

As for the preview for itself, got me excited. I like the graphics, but I do hope they out do themselves like the 50+ characters from MvsC2, and some nice unlockable artwork, like the original PS2 game.

LOL, I remember my first job at an architectes office had some massive towers, with like 6 bays, a tape drive, the real floppy drive those massive 5-3/4in media. 33.6 kbps modem, and of course the 'Turbo' button next to a lock key. What the lock did exaclty don't know, perhaps prevent the computer from being powered up or something. Oh yeah some wierd network configuration running in DOS.
