Nice feature, but it does not do older games, which sucks. I started up an older game I got from PSN, but I had to download an update patch, which was no big deal because of the small file size (Pixeljunk: Monsters), but I could imagine an older game like PAIN, those updates just got bigger and bigger, I gave up on updating that game as I needed something like 6 or 8 updates, that just never seemed to finish.
I am not impressed either. Everyday tech gets better, faster, smaller. I don't see anyone talking about an ISA slot on their computer (Industry Standard Architecture), why because they have been phased out, just like APG (Accelerated Graphics Port). I know on the pc all you had to due was use a dial-up connection, oh the horrors. What I don't get is if you start to lag, and get something like 300 and above latancy, the server you just drop you if you go over a certain amount of time like 10-15 seconds.
I use AVerTV HD DVR, and use component cables. As my computer can only handle 720p recording using a 2 hard drive raid0 configuration. If I wanted to do due 1080, I would need atleast 5 HDD in raid0 to achive that.
HDMI works too, only if your source box allows it to, as for the PS3 it does not, even playing games.
Another draw back is the sound, as it only does stereo.
