I bought MGS4 two years ago, but didn't start playing it until last week, cuz I had a massive backlog of games. I read that people were saying it was the best game ever and stuff, and I was like, cool, sounds like a good-ish game.
I have never played a Metal Gear game before MGS4.

Maybe because there have been 2 Killzone games in 5 years of this gen. One of them's not even out yet. And Halo...there's been 4, and also that Halo CE rumour next year. So Halo is yearly.
OK, Gears is not really milking. But if you say Killzone is milking, then Gears is being even more milked (especially with Gears of War Kinect?)

1: those games are on 360 too, they will look good, but not stunning, except on PC
2: Uncharted 3 will be the best looking game ever.
I actually am looking forward to Resistance 3 more =L, cuz the RPG elements looks awesome (upgrading your guns in single player, fitting attachments, no gun you pick up will be the same), the weapon wheel, health packs, and you gotta love the post-apocalyptic, southern states vibe.
