XBL user for 7 years now. I have yet to use netflix on ANY device. If I want to watch a film, I usually just go cinema with my boo, or catch it on sky HD. I cant even remember the last time I bought a DVD! lol

I think you are missing the point that people pay for XBL primarily to play games. Anything else is neither here nor there.

I agree with you. I play quite a few indie games ( not that I go out of my way to...some times I just want to play a smaller game) but I dont know many people who do. The majority will hold out for the Halos and Unchartereds of this world. When all is said and done I bet most of the people on this site dont play them... they simply see it as some sort of bragging right.

I hate to say it but console gaming in japan will remain secondary to mobile gaming from now on. I think what is important is that japanese devs are able to be profitable in the rest of the world on home consoles. maybe capcom will even consider a multiplayer monster hunter game on home consoles for the rest of the world, for example.
For me the game delivered big time. I like my multiplayer games and right now, this is the cream of the crop. Does it bother me that it has no story mode?Nope. I got DS2 and infamous:SS for that, anyway.

Worse thing is...Its not that sony beat them...its that they did it to all to themselves.
They made bad hardware choices by themselves. They alienated a huge chunk of their own audience with the DRM/always online stuff at last years unveiling of X1. They chose to advance kinect at the expense of pushing CPU/GPU grunt to meet a certain price bracket. All bad choices that they made on their own.
IO remember that press conference where sony's top brass all did...

To be fair..and honest...they do.
I think VR will take off on PC, but on console...I just dont think most will buy it because of the price. I dont know many console owners that buy high priced accessories like fight sticks or steering wheels...so I dont see many spending $300 dollars. I could be wrong, of course. But I just dont see the majority of PS4 owners buying regardless of N4G posters enthusiasm for it. I would probably buy one...but I am probably be the only person I know that would.
