I am thinking that later down the line when its cheaper to make, the kinect SKU will be cheaper..making the kinectless SKU even cheaper still. But at the moment the kinectless X1 SHOULD cost less than a PS4 because it is less powerful. They should undercut the PS4 by at least 50 bucks, and pack in titanfall or forza, just to sweeten the pot for new buyers.
Hardly "sticking it" to us. Just doing what they need to do, to sell more consoles. This is a business..Hence the term "games industry". Granted I didnt , like the launch price but such is the case with new toys. I dont think anybody is taking it personally. Except maybe , teenagers with too much time on their hands, who get emotionally invested in the "console wars".. just saying.

I think, what really matters here is that the option to buy it without kinect for those that didnt want it. Its a win win for everyone. Im ok with kinect, hence why I bought mine at launch. But this is good for those that dont want it. Plus...This will bring me plenty of fresh meat to kill on titanfall.. *evil grin*
I dont think its exclusive. Is one of those promp partnerships. Like BF4 @MS conference and watchdogs @sonys, last year.
I dont think this is accurate for a bunch of reasons..
MS have already said they have more games than they can fit into their conference.
MS also said no TV talk at E3 conference...its "games , games , games".
Titanfall does not need confrence floor space. it has been out for a little while now..same goes for watchdogs at sonys conference. They would not allocate time to a game that is already going to be out by E3.

I agree..and I bought some top notch games this year. TitanFall is the game I play the most at the moment(I have it on X1 and PC. but play the X1 version , more s that is what my freinds have).

And only a fraction of what the THe PS4 sold.Im going to go out on a limb and say that this gen the PS4 will inherit the COD/FIFA/Madden/Assasins creed customers who buy little else. Dont be surprised if those multiplats consistently outperform sony's own games at retail.

M-M hit the nail on the head. Most People with high end PCs dont use them primarily for games. I have a VERY high spec PC..but that is because I do music production, which requires a fast CPU and lots of ram if you make commercial level music ( which I do). I slapped an Asus 560Ti OC edition in there for the odd game. I know a few people with custom PCs, and they are all into graphics, video or audio editing...then there is my mac owning buddies...yuk.
