Its flaimbait..that was their intention. I didnt even click.
My thoughts exactly. it might be a good arcade racer like NFS, burnout or grid..but I consider project cars, Forza and GT to be in a different kettle of fish. Those games simulate suspension, mass and tyres. This game does not.
different horses for different horses. If you want a more "hollywood" driving experience, then I put this on THAT list next to NFS, and other arcade racers. PC,GT and forza are a little more clinical in their look and feel.
I m...
Colour me impressed! :)....still wish it had sim like handling though. I have this worrying feelin that if I buy this it will be like WRC on PS2 motorstorm on PS3 all over again....Loved the visuals but the car handling was not satisfactory...but DAMN it looks good!
Dont play with my feelings....
looking forward to it...now..wheres my shadow of the beast, update...aint seen that game since last E3...hoping they use, give roger dean a call as he is the artists that gave the 16-bit originals their distinctive look. Roger dean draws some crazy landscapes..would love too see those landscapes rendered using PS4 power.
@nevin1
Well, its not JUST a games console,tbh..
welcome to the club, PrinceOfAllSaiyans. See you on titanfall, sometime :)
Finally! Time to pick up a 4TB HDD, methinks!
"They shouldn't have made the mistake in the first place"
Whats done is done..No point in gamers dwelling on it. They made all the changes people asked for in the space of the last 12 months. but something tells me we will still see articles like this for the rest of the year. Gamers are like emotional women, sometimes, I swear.
"I don't subscribe to the wrong n strong attitude. Ms standing firm with their plans would of scuppered the x1's growth worst than it is already.. Nobel? Maybe, but not very business savvy at all."
I could not agree more, with all due , the xbox brand cant live off "respect" from people who dont want to buy it because of kinect in the box.
Personally, its my fave FPS, So It lived up to the hype for me. It has mechs, a crazy sense of agility, and its fast paced. Just what I like.
bought this last friday. immense fun :)
"For a multiplayer game I would choose the version which I'll enjoy it more with friends"
If I was keen on MP, then I would buy it for my X1. But I just want to play in SP. I dont even want people "invading/hacking" in my game world. That is my reason for getting it on PC. I just want the best SP experience.
I brought up the PC because going by the OPs logic (and many a N4G, poster) Resolution is a big deal these days.
You know what is REALLY funny to me? Before this announcement people were so sure the PS4 version was 1080p, citing it as a reason to get the PS4 version over the X1...But now that it has come to light that the PC version is the only one doing 1080P, everybody wants to brush it under the rug... Dont think I aint noticed, N4G.
Im sticking by my guns thoug...
Drive club has more interesting/scenic, backgrounds/tracks....But if what others have said about project cars vehicle handling are true then I would choose Project cars..plus it runs at 60FPS, which is preferable for me, when I play racing games.
so it boils down to 60FPS sim type racer VS 30FPS arcade racer. Pick your poison.
Have you played them both? I am only asking because you said it "feels" better.
" yet another multiplat that will run best on PS4"
You mean .."yet another multiplat that runs best on PC"
Fixed.
Ill be buying the PC version seeing as resolution is so important.
EDIT:After all..the PC version is the only one I can play at 1080P/60FPS. I want to play the version that looked like the E3 presentation. That is all.
"Can I just play wired instead of buying batteries ?"
Yeah, you can. But longterm you should deffo get a play and charge kit ;)
I agree. I think what they should do, is set up a "kinect game works" studio, that focuses on making games that utilises kinect/controller hybrid controls in the core games. Set examples, so to speak. If nothing else it doesnt let it go to waste. Personally I dont mind kinect.Cant say I have ever played a kinect based game but I like the voice and gesture stuff. I think if MS got into VR, kinect would have some interesting potential. it can track body part, movements after all.
Fair play, man. Hope it dont dissapoint you, dude ;)
