A far cry from the days of free online on PS3. I guess they were finally feeling the cost of maintaining a gaming service online. cant say I blame them. Its a business at the end of the day. These servers dont pay for themselves.
Nice. sorted before the UK launch of FH2 tomorrow. Cant wait to get stuck into FH2 :) Nice to know they still patch FM5, as I still play that game, even now.

Well, there are some PSV titles in the top ten too...I just thought a small, cheap console with access to the PSV and playstation libraries via PSnow, is something they would have jumped at.
I believe this to be the case. while they may lose money in the region, at least having their console available their, shows the devs, they respect the region.
I think buying that big stake in capcom, should be a serious consideration for them, now. Also setting up some japanese dev studios, would be handy too. also, hiring some japanese industry veterans would help.
I agree. They should focus on the US, UK, europe, SA, China and the emirates.

Indeed! Games like Ori,D4, super time force and minecraft are great in between FH2, SSO and halo:MCC. and thats before we add the multiplatform stuff like AC unity, shadow of mordor, farcry 4 and Pcars :)

Yup. I still play FM5 as when all is said and done its still a forza game. It still has the great car physics. tuning. custom liveries/paintjobs. solid online component (probably still the best in any racer on console bar FH2).

Either way, Im not sure why they would compare DC to FM5. FM5 is a sim with that golden physics model, and intimate handling feel.As a sim, FM5 has a depth that DC, cannot match, because its cars require mastery of real driving techniques, as well as a good grasp of how suspension/engine/gearbox tuning works.

How much the PS4 sells, has little to do with, how the XB1 evolves. Nothing stops THAT train. You seem to forget how much bigger a company MS is than Sony. MS are here to stay and they are playing to win. Deal with it. Competition is a healthy thing. I actually commend sony for making MS get back into focus.
I am excited to see what kind of console it becomes in 2-3 years. MS are no slouches when it comes to making software improvements, as evidenced in the monthly updates. God only knows what they are up to behind the scenes.

Damn..Not even the Vita TV is selling. triple figure sales are shocking. Thought for sure that was going to become a popular device in japan. Basically, if it aint a 3DS, they are not really interested.

I would create ...the gamerverse. An ambitious MMO that would be completly free and would be cross platform play for all. Imagine a game universe populated by all gamers regardless of platforms..
