repetitive. Shallow. Bland. Overly simple controls...I could go on. Played the game for 20 minutes and took solice from the fact that I didnt pay to play it anyway. I just could not continue to play it. Its a VERY hollow game, and in my experience with it it seemed to WANT to make it clear that I will not enjoy this game if I play it for 20 minutes more..Gave it back to my bro..he works for Playstaion EU in west lond...

Not saying that. Im you should all "temper your expectations" as I have heard a few devs say. The games will look better for sure. But dont expect them to be running at 1080P/60FPS as well as improving in visuals. It WILL be one or the other. The order 1866: has shown this already. I expect more games to follow that route, in a bid to push for higher IQ.
I still have mine..with 200+ downloaded games. I am not getting rid of it. But The transition to XB1 has been great for me. From FM5, dead rising3 to titanfal to super time force to FH2 and too the upcoming SSO (trading my day one edition for the SSO white console bundle)to the daddy..Halo:MCC. i have not been disappointed at all, even if I was a little iffy about the specs at first in comparison to the PS4(which I picked up in march)..but I play the XB1 more. Could be because of the exclusiv...
I think...as this gen rolls on, you will see less and less games running at 1080P/60FPS in favour of 30FPs and better visuals.
Some of you are expecting FAR too much from these two laptop based APUs called XB1 and PS4. Maybe people simply dont agree with your opinion. Is that so hard to beleive? that is what the disagree button is for. I own forza and played DC yesterday on my bros PS4. I will be borrowing it over the weekend also. And no. It is not as good as FH2. simple as. But enjoy DC all the same.
I think art style and beleivability are more important. plenty of games I can think of that didnt look realistic but still managed to draw me into a world that was both cohesive and seemed like more than the sum of lots of pixels and trangles. I still think zelda:Ocarina of time does a good job of this. as does GTA3s liberty city at night with its hazy streetlights and 'dirty' textures.El shaddai, Ico, shadow of the colosuss as well as the journey are other good examples.
I am already swapping my day one for the SSO bundle. But this bundle is awesome for anybody who was waiting till halo to jump in.

I also hear tiled resources will play a big role in how ESram is utilised VIA DX12. Its quiet impressive what they can cram into it. curious to see in game use.
If it allows the massive range of productivity software like DAWs (music production software) that will be awesome. XB1 has some powerful sound hardware built in so it would make for a decsent multi channel DA converter for mics and guitars to record into a DAW loaded into XB1. that would make for some interesting possibilities for music based games that would actually teach you music threory and technique.

I just bought arkham asylum and arkham city. £7.48 for both. bargain! I will finally get to play darksiders 2 9 got 100G on the first game). Nice to know I still get milage out of my nine year old X360. Who would have thought that even with my XB1 front and center, I still play it every now and again. I also have nier, but I dont know when/if Ill ever play it, with all these XB1 games coming out this fall. FH2 is already dominating my game time.
