I believe Sony will have new Mascots for their next console, but they won't forget about the ones from their past. Even if they only come Vita side.
The Vita is big in the US and Europe, because the games are geared towards the western market. Wait until next year, The Vita will do some good numbers in Japan with all the great games coming before March 31st, 2013.
2013 is the year of the Gamer, no matter what platform you play one.
This is a long comment and I jumped all over the place.
I'm sorry if I offended you in anyway. Microsoft has always been about the core since they first released the 360. The very reason why I got a 360 and didn't move to a PS3 until after 2 years or a wii. But for the love of God or whomever you love, you can't say they didn't sell their souls, when it comes to exclusives and new IPs. They focused more on the Kinect, then they did with their core games. Forza, ...
I think you mean 2013. Because those events came and left months ago. I can't wait for GDC as well. March can't come soon enough, but at least I will have a good share of titles to keep me occupied.
I'm not going to lie, I find my phone and my laptop more useful at times as well. But I have games for my Vita, so late at night or once and a while after class or during a break, I will play a game. For the type of work your friend does, he doesn't really need a Vita, he doesn't need something to keep his attention away from the monitor or from watching the building or person he is guarding. He made the wise choice and I don't blame him. I can roam the internet and be on the ...
Do you remember the guy that won the first season of the Tester? If, you do, do you remember when Sony laid him and some other staff members at Sony San Diego? He had some stuff to say on his twitter about Sony, the games they had releasing this year and he made sure people knew who it was coming from. He was mad, that he got laid off and want someone to hear his frustration. he used twitter to get it out there and once it was he deleted, but they were still out there.
Phones have gotten bigger, since the touch screen. Minus the IPhone, but that is behind what the android devices can do, unless you jailbreak it. The Galaxy S2/3/Note/Note 2, iphone 5 and the Windows phones average about 4 to 5 inches.
Also, in a way the 3Ds is big and that sells, especially the XL. I carry around my 3Ds and Vita in my bag with my phone in my pocket or on my waist. Just a note, I can fit my 3Ds in my pocket. So, it's not the size.
I have a Galaxy Note and a Vita/3DS. Guess what I play my games on... Go ahead, I'll wait.
The DS got bigger than the PSP and that didn't stop Sony from selling the PSP and I doubt the growth of the 3Ds will stop the Vita from selling.
Define everyone, because my nephew wanted a Vita and gave away his iPhone to his younger brother, who didn't want that and wants a Vita as well. One of them got the Vita as an early Christmas/late birthday present. ...
So, we can expect a new handheld and a New Home console game from them every few years. At least I hope so.
The same studio that made The Witcher and the Witcher 2. CD Projekt RED is making a game called Cyberpunk 2077. I don't know if it will be released on all platforms at release, but I hope it will see the light on other consoles, than just the PC.
For all we know the Orbis is a figment of out imagination. Nothing has been confirmed and if he/she ended up saying something about the Next console and Sony sued, it will just prove that they are working on something new one.
He could have just mentioned just the move, 3D and the Vita. But that wouldn't get Kotaku to make an article about. He could of mentioned Sony's business ventures and how it will cause them to fail next gen. He wouldn't even have to mentione...
The site is called officialplaystationmagazine, so of course they will make it seem that way. Have you been to oxmonline or any other Oficial Xbox website? They do the same thing with Multiplatform titles.
I know, I was expecting a price cut when they announced the super slim. But I guess the drop didn't come because they didn't want the Vita to cost more than it's home console counterpart.
I expect a price cut for the both the Vita and the PS3 after the holidays or sometime after. The price cut will happen at the same time for both of them.
I find it funny, Sony dabbled with causal games this Gen, we have seen a good share of them and they didn't really move units, but they sold okay. They still have Wonderbook and a few others and those are selling okay. Their main focus is on Hardcore, just look at their games coming out next week, The last company you would think to forget about the core is Sony. We already seen Nintendo do it, for the most part, but they are trying to get them back with the Wii U and Microsoft sold their...
That twit is just letting us know about when the store will update, but it doesn't imply they will join both updates together. I think the Holiday Essentials deals are part of the store update, because if they weren't we won't have to wait, it would have just happened. Similar to the way Assassin's Creed 3/L was discounted over the week (due to the flash sale), with no update at all.
Also on the Blogcast, they said there will be no store update with new games ...
Retro City Rampage is free for PS3/Vita users through plus, so I expect another free game next week. I might pick up Starhawk. I mean, for that PS+ price I would've paid for one portion of the game. I'm happy to see Unit 13 and that is one of the titles I wanted to join the list of games on sale. Hopefully next week, we will see more Vita games. There is still ten more titles that will show up before the end of the year.
Just in case Nitrowolf2 wants to tell me there ...
Please be downloadable day one with a Midnight release. I just watched the second trailer a second time and can't get out of my head.
Next Year Is The Year Of The Gamers! Just like 2008 was. in 2013, we are getting a new Metal Gear Solid and a new Grand Theft Auto.
5 years later and the graphics have greatly improved on home consoles.

That will come on the 31st, I believe. If going by what Sega said about Jet Set Radio. It won't leave PS+ until the 31st and that is on a Monday, when the store updates for the last time for 2012.
Sony needs to bring Socom back with the Socom Pistol. No Pistol, then don't even think about it.
