I agree, but why buy a used 3DS system, when a new one was on sale for the same price as a used one, the week leading up to Christmas. He could have bought it before then, but who knows.
I think that was poor judgement on the parent and stupid of the Gamestop employees for not check the system before talking it in for trade or testing it before selling it to the consumer. Bottom line is, it both their faults for not making better judgements. At least GameStop gave the child a...
To all those above me,
Those are just estimated times, they should cater to the each Platform. They could cater more time, if they would do as Root said and do a "separate PSVITA show, like how Nintendo did the Nintendo 3DS Direct."
Most importantly they should get more than 2 hours on the Stage, if they don't do a separate show for the Vita. And manage their time efficiently.
I agree with the list for the most part. The Vita has a varied amount of games and so far there is one top game, in each genre, that has come to the Vita and I expect that to expand in the coming years.
My list would vary, but not by much. I recently started playing Unit 13 and played a little bit Hastune Miku project Diva F and I think those games deserve a space on that list or at least an honorable mention. With some notable other recently released titles that has graced t...
Sony's conference needs to be 2 or so hours long. They need to break it up into portions. 45 minutes on the Vita, 45 minutes on the PS3 and about 30 or so minutes on the next PlayStation console. They need to show that they still are supporting their older system in the home console space, but are getting ready to push the envelope with their next console. They need to show that they are not done with the Vita and will be making sure the Vita comes full force in the fall of 2013 along sid...
I try my best to not reply to you, but this time I couldn't resist. The PSP will be around for about 10 or so years and that was outdated a year or so after release, but that didn't stop Sony nor third Parties. The 3DS is outdated and we can see how that is selling. Every new console we get will be outdated before it's time, but that doesn't mean it will stop selling.
Why do you care, if someone on this site or another wants the Vita to succeed? If they show i...
I hope this means we will see WWE 13 on more than 3 platforms next year. I'm happy THQ is safe and I hope they recover enough to buy back their independence from being bought by another publisher.
So, how is that a reply to my comment? I never mentioned Nintendo in my comment.
Sony never gave away 20 retro titles, unless you think of PlayStation Plus (But thats a paid service). But they did give away 4 games to those affected by the hack. Due to their bad network. Nintendo gave away 20 games (20 of which I have as well) because they prematurely dropped the price of the 3DS, because of the unexpected sales of the system. One was a welcome back and the other was more of ...
You and CommonSenseGamer are right. The Vita sales are terrible and the 3Ds line up will overshadow the Vita's line up next year. But that doesn't mean I can't be optimistic of the situation. None of the 3DS games have stopped the PSP, PS3, Wii U or 360 games from selling, so why would it stop people from buying Vita games.
While a lot of the games coming out next year, are enhance ports, that doesn't stop it from being a game that could potential help the Vit...
Why do you replay to me? They are great numbers compared to last week. The Vita seen a 33% percent increase over last week and that is a great thing, when it hasn't really seen those numbers this year.
It's stupid of me to state the obvious every week and that is the 3Ds is selling gangbusters in Japan. It's nice to see something out of the ordinary every once and a while.
@PATRIOT7ME,
You don't have to be a fortune teller to tell that the Vita will get a much need increase in sales, come next year. Look at what AKB1/149: Love Election did for the Vita, while it didn't sell gangbusters, it helped the Vita sell 33% more than it did last week. Next year the Vita has some great games coming out in the first 3 months and if those games don't help sell the Vita to Japanese gamers, then at that point you can say the Vita has "failed....
Those are some great numbers coming from the Vita. A much needed increase from last week. Almost a 33% sales increase. Those numbers should so go up after the holidays, when all those games start coming out.
The Wii U still going strong after it's release and that's good to see. It goes to show how strong Nintendo is in Japan. I can't wait to see how Japan reacts to the next consoles from Sony and Microsoft.
How many people do you think use the 3D feature on their 3DS? I know I don't, and I don't see a reason to use it anyway. I didn't buy my 3Ds because it was innovative, I bought it to play games.
I think people were singing that song before the Vita came out, and then Nintendo got scared and dropped the price by 80 dollars. Then the tune changed. Whether Nintendo admits it or not, that is what it looks like.
I'm sure the Wii U will sell very we...
It's bigger in the US and Europe, because the games are geared towards the western market.
It should have been bigger by now, but the price is one thing and Nintendo scar a lot of people with the sudden price cut, and I don't think people want that to happen again. Especially when you hear personally from Sony telling the media that a price cut will happen next year.
While the Vita didn't get Monster Hunter, it did get some great replacements to take it's place. I played the Soul Sacrifice demo, I found it enjoyable and can't wait for the release.
The Wii U was going up against it's launch week in Japan. I think that could be a factor on why it wasn't up percentage wise. Also, there wasn't really any deals available for the console (other than the Deluxe bundle), like there were/are for the other consoles.
You should get a message at the top left, that says "The battery is running low." That should be the time to charge it, so it doesn't die. At that point it's not dead.
Enough with the jokes, I don't think the Vita is dead until Sony and the third Party developers say so. And at this point, none of them have mention or hinted at that.
Take this into account the PS2 was released a year before the Xbox. The PS2 had a crazy leed over the Xbox and nothing could changed that, Forcing Microsoft to rush out a new console (RROD proves that).
Now, we look at the 360 and PS3. The 360 came out a year before the PS3 and now 6-7 years later, only has a 2 million plus lead over the PS3. The 360 started out with a 10 million plus leed over the PS3, at the time of the PS3's launch. Also, take this into account the PS3...
I love the Crash, Jak and Daxter ornaments. Naughty Dog and their team are amazing Developers. Looking forward to 2013!
The install base is bigger in the US, than it is in Japan. So, it does make sense to release it in the US, because it will be download only. FTP MMO's have been successful on the PS3, so I don't see why it won't be on the Vita. That is according to SOE, the people who brought us Free Realms and DC Universe.
I feel ashamed of myself for missing Persona 4: Golden. I haven't started it yet, I can't be drown in another RPG yet. Still playing Tale Of Graces F and Legend of Dragoon (Didn't beat it the first time).
As for Shinobido 2, I had it, but I didn't play it much. I bought it at launch and played it once. I'm hoping to see it on sale next week through the holiday essentials sale. If not, I will pick it up during the slow drought, that we call the summer.
