I would have love to see Google Earth on the Wii U, I like using it on the computer. I wonder how many people will use this and how useful it will be since you the system is not portable. I don't even use it much on my Vita, since I have my phone and a GPS.

While the PS3 pulling ahead doesn't matter to a lot of people and we still have to wait until Sony & Microsoft announces numbers, the generation is not done. Both Sony and Microsoft have stated the both consoles will get support until 2015/16 and I believe they can go longer than that. @DK286K, I think miyamoto is calling the Sony (PS3) the overall champion of the HD twins (PS3 & 360). That is the reason why Nintendo (Wii) is not included, it doesn't support HD.
The 360 did do very well this generation and I can't wait to see how both consoles (Next Xbox and PlayStation) do when they release at the same time or months apart from each other. That will be the real test and challenge.
I don't own as many 3DS games, but I own a decent amount. Mario Kart 7, Heroes of Ruin, Code of Princess (Recent bought), Kingdom Hearts: DDD, Pokemon Rumble Blast, Legend of Zelda 3D and PushMo.
The store takes about the same amount of time to load but the pages do load a lot faster. I'm happy with the improvement.

Pokemon X & Y has sparked my interest in the series again. The change could have came earlier though.
I would love to get a Pokemon game that has an alternate ending and player choice, that changes how the story progresses. Maybe it just me.
Mass Effect 2 and 3 didn't sell all that well on the PS3, as it did on the 360. While it didn't stop the game from selling, it would have sold better if they had the first and could continue the story and port over their character from the first as 360 users had the chance to do so.
Also, Mass Effect 2 on PS3 came a year later than the 360 version. I don't know if having the first one has changed anything, sales wise. The real comparison should be how Mass Effect ...

What are you talking about? You do know that the PlayStation gets more than shooters on it right? The system gets support of all genres and not just shooters. The best selling game on the console that is an exclusive is a racing game.

I don't think it's the most expensive one. I'm sure Sony still sells the Move PS3 Bundle and that is 350 and they have the 500GB bundle which is 300 and the 250 GB for 269.99. Microsoft has the 250GB model which is 300 and the 360 250GB Kinect bundle which is 350. So, the Wii U is not the most expensive console on the market. I know they are bundled with game(s), but Nintendo can bundle as well and currently has a game bundled with one of their consoles.

It wouldn't make sense for Nintendo or Mircosoft to tell us about Sony's sells figures and it wouldn't make sense if it was the other way around. So no, I wouldn't take their word for it. But that is not the case, Nintendo reported those numbers and made a spin to make it seem like it did better sales wise, than the Wii (It brought in more revenue, but which matters more to third party publishers and developers?). I can't see a lot of PS3, 360, Wii U or PC owners buying this.
PS3 users have The Last of Us and Until Dawn, 360 owners have Dead Space 3 (Also on PS3) and Dark (Also on PC), Wii U owners have Zombie U and PC owners have a Sugar Honey Ice Tea load of survival horror games to look forward to this year.
I would be surprised if this game sold more than 300K combined on all platforms.

I think the reason is, most people don't expect Nintendo consoles to be expensive or to exceed a certain amount. I can only assume that the next time Nintendo releases a new generation handheld and home console, consumers will expect a high(er) price because they expect Nintendo to be pushing HD or whatever the new tech is.

I guess you don't shop on Amazon, Newegg or other online retailers. Sometimes they offer the games at reduced prices or give a 5 to 20 credit to use on a later purchase. There is also extra DLC as preorder bonuses that change the game a little and sometimes DLC that you would have to pay for at a later date.

I agree! The only way to make one is with a Wii U, so I don't think people will purchase a Wii U just to troll from their phone. Hopefully Nintendo doesn't change that in the near future.
