If it wasn't for the community on PS3Trophies.org and many other dedicated trophy/achievement sites (YouTube, PSLS, Gamesradar, etc), many of us wouldn't have as many platinum trophies as we do now. Unless we purchased a strategy guide.

They both failed. One lost Market Share this Gen to the other that had little to no market Share last Gen. And the other failed to stop a company that is already in the door. If anything Microsoft helped Sony market the PS3 better with the no cost online play.
It sad to hear that is the reason that came into the console business, I thought it would have been to give consumers a different gaming experience to what their competitors were giving consumers.
You can say the same about 360. The only system(s) that could last without Multi platform titles are the Nintendo systems.

Just picked up Dead Space 3 and Sly Cooper Thieves In Time. Just waiting until I can use the Disc Benefits feature to get Sly on my Vita (Other than Bentley's Hackpack).
Who really thought this would have console quality titles? I was expecting Mobile phone quality titles.
I think it would be 20-30 dollars as well. Making the overall cost of the system to be around 480-720 dollars after the 2 year deal. That doesn't include late fees or interest.
It all comes down to the cost of the system at the end of the day, before anyone of us can tell if this will work out for Sony. I believe it's working fairly well for Microsoft.
This is what they have come to... Their first multiple platform title hasn't release yet and now they are developing IOS titles, I guess I might have to pick up an Ipod touch.
I think it will be something similar to the mini games that are in the Sly collection. But I think it something we will have to pay for, but I could be wrong.
I think that is what makes Sony a great company, they don't force developers to add things to games they don't want added. They have the option available to them. In ways it can bite Sony in the butt. But as long as the developers are happy, Sony will see games on their platform.
It's kinda of like Move support. Do you know how much it would have suck to see Move support in every First party title?
That could be why it was free for US PSN plus members some time ago. Maybe we could see a Vita release (I can hope).
I enjoyed the gameplay. It's the cutscene at the beginning of the demo that really had me really interested.
I'm a big fan of story driven titles and the beginning of the demo had me wanting more. I knew the gameplay would be great because of Platinum's previous games, but I was unsure about the story due to the little info I knew about the game/story after the watermelon TGS 2010 trailer .
I think Microsoft are ready to jump into the next gen than Sony. They were the ones that started the countdown to E3 earlier this year and that was a major indication to a big reveal from them.
They only have one big retail (As of now) exclusive game on the 360 slated for this year, that is not meant for the Kinect.

Anyway, I hope Sony, Microsoft nor Nintendo stops making consoles. It helps the console martket grow, competition is good for them all even if you don't want it.
