Kmart's deal blows this out of the water. $25 from their shop rewards program that you can spend on anything in the store, even points cards. Plus you can save $20 on your choice of a couple different Turtle Beach headphone packages, plus you get a swank special forces patch.
Don't fall for this story, it is nothing more than a way for the site to get revenue through referrals. Shameless attempt to make cash off N4G's userbase. The person who submitted this story ought to be banned also, he is a shill for consolepress. Look at his submissions.
Zero excitement going on with anything that has to do with move. Where are the ads? Where are the headlines? come on! It's almost like Sony itself doesn't even care.
I bought it for the 360 and I have been playing the hell out of it. I am about 40 hours in and still in act 11. At first I have to admit that the game starts very, very..almost painfully, slow. I agreed with a lot of the posters here that it was very disappointing. But the more I played it I started to really fall in love. The story is pretty awesome even though they don't tell you much up front. You find out a lot more about it as you go on.
The graphics are absolutely ...
cheapassgamer.com is nothing but a bunch of hacks. A review from that site is just as good as asking the publisher how their game is. They are nothing but sleaze that give anything given to them a good review.
While I am sure the game will be great I'll stick to getting reviews from reputable online resources.
Great article. I am surprised we didn't hear automaker complaining about having to be bailed out because of all the used car sales. I guess nobody should ever resell anything according to game developers.
I actually have zero interest on anything on that list. Nothing exciting at all in my opinion. The only games I am really looking forward to coming out is Dead Rising 2 and Fallout Lost Vegas and I don't believe those are exclusives on either console.
How about we stop bragging about what is supposed to have and actually release it already? Every day is another article about something in the game yet it seems we are never any closer to playing it.
I think the used car analogy is accurate and software too degrades just like an automobile. Brand new games that are $60 at launch never hold that price long and game publishers themselves drop the price of the game after a few month to spur sales. Games also lose value as soon as you take the shrink wrap off, just like that new car a buyer drives right off the lot.
Even so a 10 minute install is 10 minutes you could be doing something else. Who wants to boot a console game and wait 10 minutes before you can play it? MGS4 took at least 5 minutes every chapter. That was painful.
Every console goes through revisions and them commenting on this is ridiculous. Why does this matter? So Sony fanboys can complain that MS is copying them? They did this without stripping features like backwards compatibility and added wireless (which should have been included all along) and made it more aesthetically pleasing.
At least they were showing it live real-time and not a pre-rendered tech demo like a lot of companies show. I wish more companies would have the balls to do this.
He didn't read the article either. Its funny to see how many people think that is how much their console is worth in trade. Like it makes perfect sense they would give you £99.99 for an elite and £139.99 for a 20Gb pro.
Read the article, it says that is what you pay for the 360s when you trade each version listed in. It's not what you get in trade for your console.
Agreed, from the article: "with the price you see the price you pay"
I think you are going to have to do it the way MS has said, via hd transfer cable or move your data to a flashdrive and then from that onto the new console.
Home is an irrelevant piece of software. I find it difficult to believe that Sony has not pulled the plug on it.
While this does look like a great deal I am still not tempted.
@mrv321
Read the article, it seems like you are exactly the type of person the author was thinking about when he wrote about people who try to defend the launch price.
They should have used a younger girl without a leather face.
