Unfortunately you will be in the minority for consumers buying a new console. Look at the history of consoles. Price was a main factor in the success or failure of a console matched with games. It's always been like this...
Considering most if not all 3rd party games will hit both systems and 3rd party system sellers, price will once again be a major factor.
Expect to see a major price cut from Microsoft before the Xbox One is a year old.
It's going to get sla...
If the Xbox One was the same cost or lower than the PS4, this would not be an issue. The fact that the first time in console history that the weaker console system costs more at retail launch then the more powerful system is telling.
The differences are not going to be huge lets be honest about that, however that's irrelevant. The Xbox One costs a full $100 more and is not as "system" capable as the PS4. What Microsoft was thinking with this price point is beyond insane...
Btw... The blog poster has One Bubble...Gee I wonder why?
I think we can all agree that this is one of the worst "blog" written on N4G.COM in years... if not THE worst... And folks... That's saying a lot on N4G.COM
Sure...Whatever you say...
If I were Sony... I would do more of this... And put up the price points.
1) Higher resolution
2) More powerful System
3) $100 Cheaper
This is not a charity folks. This is a business. It's cut throat. It's how all business is done. PERIOD.
If Microsoft had this advantage I would expect them to do the same. If not... then they are fools
No? Why? They are not officially out yet. Lets wait before we bash the PS4 and Xbox One shall we?
LMFAO... This can't be real? That would mean my gaming PC from 6 years ago is a SUPER COMPUTER by Japan's standards? LMFAO
You cannot have both on these consoles. I have said this numerous times and got blasted for it on N4G.
Games that will be graphics and physics heavy will not be running at native 1080p@60 FPS. These consoles simply do not have the hardware inside to achieve this. In order for that resolution and frame rate, sacrifices to the games visuals and physics will have to be made.
Well... This article won't go over well on N4G that's for sure...

Then you're not playing very good players then. Play someone who is above average in BF3 using a Key/Mouse and you stick to your controller and you will lose most of the time. It comes down to plain reaction time and speed. Gaming Mice and Gaming keyboards are simply faster by miles and in the hands of a good FPS payer, it's no contest. It really is not.
I know this is a console site and I am really taking my chances by saying this on N4G.com a...
For FPS games in a competitive match, Mouse and Keyboard will destroy game pad controllers. It's not even a contest
Ok... That's retarded
People have to stop comparing Consoles to PC's.
We really need to stop comparing consoles to PC gaming rigs...
So you are fine with using racial comments to show your displeasure with a company you don't own? Sorry. That makes you a fanboy and worse... a racist fanboy.
Keeping it classy PS4 fanboys...Keeping it classy...
My reason for not buying launch consoles is the lack of titles in the first year. PC's should not even be brought up in this conversation to be honest
@Sevir
All the destruction in Killzone is either set pieces and scripted like COD and other FPS games or your typical smaller objects. Broken glass, splintered doors and the occasional sand bags are not what you would call destruction. Play BFBC2 or Crysis 1 to see what destruction is. Killzone destruction is not procedural at all. And sorry to tell you that the inclusion of vehicles is very system tasking. Killzone does not have this so they can save those resources for other areas. ...
