I know you were just making examples there, but 500k polys per character? That seems pretty optimistic, lol.
But PS4 fanboys are not ready, judging by your dislikes.
Wow, look at all the a-holes disliking these two comments. How sad...
I'm glad to see this will have wetaher effects, unlike Driveclub or Forza 5..
Of course it looks good, it's only scripted cut scenes with zero gameplay. How much do you want to bet that the retail version will look exactly like Ghosts, albeit in a futuristic setting? There will be very little post processed effects, and I doubt the current gen versions will even have per object motion blur...
It looks exactly like Ghosts, but with a new futuristic setting. It's got lots of scripted elements, and evrything is nailed to the floor. No interactivity. Not sure why everyone is so fascinated with Kevin Spacey, either...
@AGaryColemanClone- Maybe you forgot about Gears of War > Resistance: FOM at PS3's launch.
Yes, there will be a retail Blu-ray version:

I want real time Beowulf (the movie) quality graphics, then I can die happy. Actually, Beowulf quality graphics in real time while playing with a VR headset in 4K would be the pinnacle of my gaming existence, to be exact..
I'm calling it now:
Nintendo will unveil Virtual Boy 2 (a spiritual successor to the original VR based console, but assuredly not named Virtual Boy 2). It will feature an HD head mounted display, head tracking and a lower price tag than Oculus or Morpheus. It will be backwards compatible with the Wii U, and it will have a 2D mode for people who are blind in one eye. BTW the Virtual Boy was an amazing 3D VR console for its time, but the lack of full color is what ultimately limited...
Is there an adapter available to allow HDMI to Component conversion? The reason I ask is because my old Vizio 32' HDTV only allows native 1080p signal through Component. HDMI signal is limited to 720p for some reason on my particular model..
How do you know MS doesn't have a VR attachment in the works? And you must have already forgotten about the AR patents that they recently bought. You're just assuming that DX12 won't close the gap based on what? Your crystal ball is broke, or the person interpreting it is stupid.
I agree, I think it's BS. If this were true, then we should be seeing Xbox One games running in native 1600p any day now, right?
Well I claim that I'm the Queen of England.
*edit
Double post, sorry.
I remember when Titanfall was touted as using "the power of the cloud", or something along those lines. Well the final game ended up being 792p with screen tearing and frame drops, and I saw absolutely no sign that the cloud was enhancing anything about that game. I'm inclined to think that "cloud compute" is just PR jargon that does next to nothing to actually enhance physics/graphics/ or anything else about a game. I hope I'm proven wrong someday, but I just don&...
I wouldn't mind if they just cancelled this game outright, if it meant getting Just Cause 3 sooner..
Infamous: SS's city feels lifeless, and you can't even drive vehicles or swim in the damn game, lol. Plus, the water in SS is so flat, and non-tessellated. Watchdog's Chicago looks to be much more alive.
In 2020, any next gen console better have at least 64GB RAM, screw 16GB.
It seems unnecessary to remake this game so soon. I can understand a 5 or 10 yr anniversary remake, but c'mon! I would rather they devote their attention to making a sequel, a new UC, or a new IP altogether. Cutting your teeth on the new console by remaking a last gen game just seems so non-ambitious.
