Time Warner and Comcast are merging together to instill a bandwidth limit cap the resembles what you get in Canada. (5GB limit, you pay extra per Gigabyte over.)

The recent Open Internet Rules FCC failure points to the governing of content accessed through our ISP's. (Thank's to record labels fight against piracy, they resorted to Limiting what internet portals we can access. We will no longer have access to European, Asian, Australian, or South American portals. I have been making the statement that the Xbox brand, if it does not succeed as well as the PS4, will be sold. But Amazon?

Wait why would .....

Never mind it makes perfect sense. Since the Xbox one already allows the streaming of content from your cable box, and with comcast trying to merge with Time Warner while instilling "internet bandwidth limitations," and it already accepts Amazon Prime Instant video....

I fear for the worst conformati...

For some reason this video becomes very relevant:

In all seriousness though. Let titan fall come out on both platforms. I say if it never comes to PS4 OH WELL. I really don't care for it because I am too distracted by watchdogs anyway.

I see 10 million ps4 owners by april 2014 at the current rate of their product getting moved out. The attachment rate of games bought per console has moved up from 2-3 games per purchase to 4-5. Great news for investors like me.

I have stated this before: If microsoft does not outsell the PS4 this year they will sell the brand.

In all seriousness I want to see the xbox brand live on, but not "under the reign" of Microsoft. I hope that who ever buys the xbox brand can return it to a proper status. (I could not say greatness... man playstation has their marketing corner on a fucking roll here. Can't even say certain words without the ps4 somehow being affiliated with the definition now......

Hopefully Microsoft changes a few more things for the independant developers. Sony is seriously creating a close relationship with indie devs this gen. Maybe Microsoft will follow the same road.

This is by no means bad. I just hope indie devs can thrive this gen after a long history of scrutiny from the "hardcore gamer."

Because people are interested in backwards compatibility they created an online library for people to subscribe to as a means of playing anything that is available in said library. Eventually the entire ps3 library will be on gaikai along with ps2 and ps1 games. That way people will finally play haze and Lair and make up their own review score for them.

For playstation fans they will enjoy not having to risk destroying their physical copies of older ps games, and not have to ...

@ andrewlb. No one was interested in the bravia or viao brands for two years now. Those brands are dead. People are looking for cheaper hdtvs. The computer market is getting killed by smartphones. The Playstation brand is going strong. They are focusing on what is currently pushing their company forward.

We may or may not see another pc or tv manufactured by Sony in the future. But as long as playstation is there I am there.

There are over 2.5 million PS+ Subscribers.... that is a possible 20,000,000 to 125,000,000 dollar purchase power of the PS+ service.... Funny thing is that pachter didn't take into account that some development teams are willing to be bought out at prices within the 500,000 dollar range.

What I need to know right now is how many new PS4 owners are coming in who will buy the PS+ Service.

You know what month it is? It's black history month. BUT ALSO TAX SEASON. I see a huge flux of new PS4's suddenly connected to PSN.

Microsoft needs to release a model that includes a blu ray drive, but without kinect, at a price of 250 dollars. All to "win over the hearts" of its potential consumers you must make them.... well shit... can't say the b word otherwise people would think Sony...

Honestly if it was me in charge of the xbox brand back in march I would have completely scrapped the project, re worked the chipsets to remove kinect first. Second I would rename the item how it should h...

Microsoft's problem is the goal they set forth in this generation of consoles. Rumors began taking form with investors of "if (MSFT) doesn't outsell the competition they may as well sell the brand."

1 game on ps4 with 30 fps.

6 games on the new xbox at 30 fps.

I fail to see why we are arguing.

24 FPS minimum in my book. If any game falls below 24 fps then I won't play it. But the order is a solid 30 fps and has no multiplayer. Proving once again games don't need an online portion to be popular.

4412d ago 4 agree1 disagreeView comment

Why would it need a multiplayer part of the game?

Everyone just buys naughty dog, dice, and infinity ward games anyway. Why compete?
