This is the first non-exclusive one they are releasing. Even the last version was PS exclusive for a while before xbox got it.

I still get excited about Firmware updates even when there aren't things that really impact me very much in them. I think this is due to the business model that MS has had with Windows (not a 360 attack, so chill). The type of mentality that the product is never finished. Deep down there is an excitement to know your product is atleast one step better. It's weird to think about how our PS2's NEVER had updates, although it is no where near the machine that our next gen machines are. Just ...
I swear, you barely ever see any teams using the dropship effectively. Its too bad.
I already use the netflix "watch instantly" option. But hooking my laptop up to my tv is a pain. I had heard the rumors about PS3 using it, which I own, but it would be a huge selling factor to me personally. I love my blu-ray, but getting to watch whole television series on demand is a great idea.
Biggest thing to me on this list is the "Netflix" line. THAT would be so great! I already watch insant stuff on my computer, was always hoping they would add netflix to PS3 functionality
