Old. People thought this was Alan Wake for a while.
The campaign has momentum, the MP does not. That includes the beta. But yes, they are both responsive.
The singleplayer has momentum, and the multiplayer does not. It's that simple. Don't like it? Fine, you probably played the demo once and threw your controller at the screen, refusing to adapt. You won't have enemies spawning behind you in the campaign. Use the cover system and don't let the enemies flank you and you'll do fine.
I'm not really replying to one person, just the ones who feel certain that there's a "delay" in the game, and are pissed because they can't r...
I have all of them except Heavenly Sword, I even have Folklore.
Funny to see one of our Swedish newspapers on N4G. :)
None of them have unlocked anything in the multiplayer and haven't played against human players for more than an hour.
Hey guys, here's my review of the Lotr trilogy! I only read half of them, but I heard the rest are supposed to be good, so it's a 10/10! But then again, I didn't really like the half I read, and since I don't know the other half, it may be a 7/10.
They aren't even in Alpha yet, so I would expect the graphics to have a considerable leap once they are.
Think Killzone 2, pre-alpha on the left, not even final build on the right: http://img.photobucket.com/...
I doubt that. Nintendo will continue cashing in on the casual market, or keep the Wii and release a Wii 2 for the hardcore gamers, but I would be surprised if it was as powerful as the new Playstation and Xbox. And Microsoft will have to come up with a miracle processor of their own to compete with Sony's enhanced CELL, as well as a new media storage format.
Sony are always working together with IBM and Toshiba to enhance the CELL, and they've said the one in the Playstation 4 ...
I really don't know what's left to argue. I think the pic of Isaac's back is a great reference. The color of his armor turns to dark orange with Full, which is obviously oversaturated. And you don't see as much detail in the blacks as you do with Limited.
But do they say what it does? No. Does your TV's manual say exactly what all of its enhancing stuff does? No. But since it's there, it should probably be on, right? No!
This is why people who work with AV equipment research this stuff, and they know what the Limited and Full option does, and say that Full is for computer monitors. I suggest you do some researching yourself instead of blindly trusting Sony's manual. If you like watching TV, it should only do you good.
You can't assume that Gametrailer's users are the same as HipHopGamer Show's.
Yes, but Sony's description is wrong. Seriously, when people have measured the output with expensive equipment and seen exactly what it does, how can you doubt them?
But you haven't calibrated your TV for the Limited signal, am I right? Look, I'm a member at AVForums and most of us have spent a lot of time discussing this. And we do this with knowledge of TV calibration, not only using games, movies and pictures but also test patterns.
The Limited signal is obviously different from the Full, so you can't expect to get the proper image without adjusting for it. I suggest all of you who do not know of this to take your time to read up on TV c...
This is wrong. Your TV has a brightness control for a reason. Use a test pattern to adjust for the Limited signal.
Yes, ignorant fans.
Well then properly calibrate the brightness to adjust for the higher brightness level you get with Limited. Full is for computer monitors and that's it. Using it on an HDTV, even if it "supports" it (all TVs do) will make your picture less accurate. Your colors will be more saturated than the developer intended to and you'll miss details they intended for you to see in blacks.
Haha, good one. But there is actually some romance even in God of War. I thought the last cutscene of GoW 2 with Kratos and Athena was quite romantic. She was the one God he did not want to harm, and the only person he still had some affection for.
This guy is so damn horrible! Why oh why isn't he using the cover system? You'd think that he'd learn how to play the game after having played through the enterity of it. I hate players like this that are too afraid of doing anything wrong (aka dying) that they don't really play the game. All this guy does is find a spot where he can see the next battlefield, shoot those he sees, strafe behind a wall for cover and rinse and repeat at the same spot for ten minutes.
HOLY SHNIZZLE! Fall 2008 build? If this game releases late 2009 or early 2010 and has visual improvement like Killzone 2, then it will look absolutely amazing come release. And don't forget, God of War 3 renders in 1080p at 60fps!
Warhawk 2 on a deferred rendering engine of its own would be awesome, what with all the light sources and postprocessing effects you can have running on it. Warhawk 2 wouldn't work well with Killzone 2's engine because Warhawk 2 shouldn't have the hit response system and isn't in first person.
People don't seem to get that most engines are designed specifically for the game the developers are making. Engines like the Unreal Engine and Sony's own EDGE are developed to be used by...
