like you I've clocked countless hours in KZ2's mp (still playing it), but KZ3's mp is one of the most beautiful and engaging multiplayers I know of. And I've played my share, including the latest CoD, BF and UC.
I respect your opinion, but I had to disagree.
I agree that Killzone 3 had one of the best MP's of last year. It can be so intense sometimes. BF3 is fun also, but when it concerns that extra adrenaline kick, KZ3 is unparalelled. At least it is the best looking.
Great find. I really believe that the next Killzone and Guerrilla's new ip will have character models as advanced as this one.

"Nothing groundbreaking". I remember some reviews of other games with the same words and then there would be taken off one to one and a half point from the overall score. And are the servers already up, by the way. This guy seems to have played the full mp already.
Most pleasing looking game, yes. Best looking depends on ones taste in realism (UC is somewhat cartoonish). Like some one said earlier it is a game with warm lighting and beautifully toned because of the exotic locations, unlike other games that take place in more war torn and outlandish surroundings. The Uncharted series is a pleasure to look at, that's for sure.
Exclusives (in my case the Killzone series) are THE reason I own a PS3 and not a 360. And honestly, almost all my games are exclusives since they are of such high quality. So, no. For me exclusives are very much alive and very important.
Nothing special, really. I was very curious and expected really more of the graphics and the gameplay. I suppose the strength of this game lies in its mp, I guess.
Mmh, it looks like I'll be getting UC3 pre owned, if at all. I'm not bothering with its mp anyway.
I hope this dev is referring to multi platform titles, cause I can name a few ps3 first party titles BF3 & Rage can't touch.
I don't like tps multi player gameplay at all and this is one of the reasons. Just terrible.

Eh, Lights do go out when you shoot them in kz2 & 3.
You can say alot about Killzone 2 & 3 but there's going on so much on screen it isn't funny. And its AI is unrivaled. I'd like to see BF3 doing that.
Sorry, when watching all the BF3 footage I was constantly thinking how boring it looked compared to KZ2 & 3. There is really more happening on screen than in BF3. And no jaggies and screen tearing to be found in KZ3. In BF3 however...
Indeed; don't compare KZ3 to BF. KZ3 actually delivers what it promises. From what i've seen so far BF3 is the let down.
In my opinion the best looking and most visceral mp out there.
