That's a good theory but I doubt it. MS probably know exactly how much they want to price it.
Well pushing does mean dollars too and right now Sony is spending the big bucks like they did with Blu-ray. Now look how many companies are benefiting from Blu-ray technology. I foresee the same type of thing happening with 3D once Sony gets the word out and people stop complaining about price.

Yeah Sony may be at the front of the 3D bandwagon but there are plenty of companies "pushing" the tech. I can't name them all of course but you have Panasonic, ESPN, NVIDIA, Toshiba, Samsung, and the movie industry just to name a few. Sony is just the ones throwing out the dollars so far.

I hope all company's will see the value in the current consoles (like Sony saw in the PS2) to stretch them out a few more years.
The question is, will they drop support for the 360 and 360 S as quickly as they did the original XBOX? That would suck for all the new 360 S owners.
I am so glad that I have kids that are spoiled and easily influenced. After showing the E3 presentation to my 7 year old it took me less than five minutes to talk him into wanting it. lol

Why would Sony base their PS3 on Linux, and base their (rumored) PSP2 Phone on Windows phone 7? That makes no sense, if anything they would use the Linux based Android OS.
I would foresee Windows mobile 7 locked down worse than iphone..... Nah I take that back, almost as locked down.
